The blacks were Krylon Fusion Black Glossy. The gunmetal part is from Duplicolor (for trucks and SUVs) Gunmetal. I was lucky to find the latter in Ace... that was their last can... good thing that was enough! For the clearcoat, I used Pylon Clear spray. Krylon Fusion? May I know the specific color code? Regards, Darth Raider Correct me if I'm wrong... 1. Krylon Fusion Gloss Black 2321 2. Dupli-Color Truck, Van & SUV Gunmetal T177 3. Pylon Clear spray??? Do you have the code?? Regards, Darth Raider

Correct-amundo on 1 and 2. On no. 3, I've finished it so I threw away the can. But when you come across an array of Pylon spray cans, you wouldn't be able to miss it (unless it's not there in the first place); it's the one marked "Clear" and the plastic cap is transparent.

A word of caution on using Pylon clear coat on costume parts meant for trooping: It tends to flake off or degrade with exposure to heat, direct sunlight, sweat and other chemicals. And unlike enamel clear coats you can't just sandpaper it and repaint. Doing that will leave an uneven and/or blurred surface.
If you have the resources and money, best to get it clear coated by shops that makes custom motorcycle helmets, or an car painting shop.

Darth Raider, how about checking out the local motorcyle workshops or even car workshops in Penang Island? They might provide such services, although on a smaller scale such as your Darth Vader costume prop pieces.
