PTTSC can be considered as the conclusion to long running (unfinished) Sentinels story arc as featured by the Waltrips Bros.
The new PTTSC comic miniseries ties in Sentinels with the RTSC. Nice, if somewhat rush, job it would seem.

RT: New Generation (GC Mospeada) is certainly my favorite story arc, followed by RT: Masters Saga ... lastly would be RT: Macross Saga.
I mostly fall in love with VFA-6 Alpha designs, especially Officer's model (Blue Alpha). I mean, it look small & compact in fighter mode, then transformed into armored knight bristling with missiles .... damn, that's cool man. Of course, even Cyclone is special to me, especially VR-041 Saber series (Blowsuperior - Lancer's model).
As for Southern Cross .... man, the space battles is simply awesome. Capital ships slugging out in space, mechas blowtorching each other ... hell, many RT fans commented the space naval battles in Southern Cross are better compared to Macross Saga & New Gen. Plus, we finally have armored infantry struts their stuff ... as VF pilots take a back seat. ATACS rules on the ground, air, & space!

I started in late 1980s watching both original Macross & Mospeada aired at RTM. Then in early 1990s, TV3 practically blasted with ROBOTECH saga in full force. I never missed even a single episode.
Of course, in mid 1990s, I practically went nuts when I finally acquired a complete RT novelizations (minus RT: Malcontent Uprisings, Before the Invid Storm, Masters Gambit) plus the complete Sentinels novel series. I specially favored the Southern Cross segments of the novel series.
Thanks to Robotech, I rediscover my passion to all things Macross. Now, I practically have DVD collections of SDF: Macross, Macross DYRL, Macross Flashback 2012, Macross Plus, Macross II, Macross 7, Macross 7 Dynamite, Macross Zero .... followed by classic SDC: Orguss series & Orguss II OAV, & complete GC Mospeada. Call me greedy runt, I am also a proud owner of complete RT DVD series. My harddisc alone carries more than 2 Gigs worth of Macross/Mospeada/Orguss/Robotech images & information.
I also regularly posting in RT.com, RDF-HQ board, Palladium Robotech Board & of course, CARI.com.
Now, the only thing missing are the Megazone 1-3 & RTSC. Oh yess, the new Macross Frontiers series (expected aired in 2008) & RT: Shadow Rising (2009).
Within my circle of internet RT-fandom, I am the ONLY RT otaku-nutcase hailed from Malaysia.
