Well, you can watch it with me the next time you come down, then. Still, you'd have to wait for me to clear my salary first (Yes, I know, its 3 weeks late)
I was with Richard for the MySciFiFan screening. And although I have mentioned it in my blog but I want to say:
1) I still do not know how Tony Stark can carry a car battery like that in his weakened condition
2) His latest armour drew very closely from the Extremis Armour in the current Iron Man comics. Instead of storing it in his suitcase, the armour is stored in the hollows of his bones.
3) Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan are an item, I think.
4) How Samuel Jackson came to be? In the Ultimate Iron Man, he is drawn like that and if I am not mistaken, this is Jackson's condition if they want him in the movie or something like that.
5) His chest piece is not supposed to glow like that but in the movie, it upped the cool factor. His heart was "donated" by one of his Armour which went sentient and goes beserk. When it realised what it had done, it sacrificed itself to save Tony Stark by ripping a part of its component to replace Tony's heart. Originally, Tony Stark has to keep wearing the armour chest piece under the clothes. Then he created his own artificial heart which must be charged at all times.
6) In the comics, Obadiah Stane is Tony Stark's main competitor in terms of business. He also manipulated Stark to destroy his own self by drinking, etc. This is where Rhodey took over as Iron Man and later one as War machine. When Tony Start created his Silver Centurion Armour in Issue 200 (my favourite armour), he went head on with the Iron Monger. Stane lost due to his inexperience in fighting in his armour and eventually, comitted suicide rather than being captured.
