Hi, my name is Fong Saunder. Im an avid Battlestar Galactica (RDM) and Star Trek fan. Found out about this place from your outpost at CineLeisure in Damansara, very interesting. I just turned 15 exactly one month ago. I live in Taman Desa and I'm very interested in Science Fiction.
So, hello I guess.

Welcome, feel free to bring up Galactica topics here.
Have a good look around. Enjoy yourself.
Stay out of the fridge.
Especially don't drink from the clear pitcher with the yellow liquid in the back of the fridge.

Especially don't drink from the clear pitcher with the yellow liquid in the back of the fridge. Aw shoot! Why did you go and warn him about that? Its been a while since I saw someone turn into a puddle of slime after drinking that yellow liquid. ;D
Welcome Fong Saunder. I take it you're Chinese-Indian? I have a friend from Seremban with a Chinese family name and an Indian first name too.
Hope you enjoy yourelf here.

I wanna see more and more serious/authentic Star Wars costume troopers here! CP we DO have SERIOUS and AUTHENTIC STAR WARS costume troopers in the MySciFiFan community who has TROOPED with the MySciFiFan STAR WARS Costumed Contingent in one of our organized EVENT or another.
Speaking of which WHEN will the MySciFiFan community be seeing your (still in progress?) :
haha...well not exactly: it's a white, hard bikini with black wet suit underneath, white helmet with integrated sun visor(for the sun la), white boots and some white elbow/knee/shin guards (in case too many ppl try to mob me and rip off da bikini...haha)... LOL
costume as this young Star Wars costumer here (one of our Southern neighbours actually ) had already PUT his Trooper Costume TOGETHER, as shown here :
Increase your RM1K budget to RM2K above, and perhaps the MASTERS here too might be able HELP you to achieve your STAR WARS Trooper Costuming Goals!

Hey Sith,
I never mentioned or hinted that there aren't any authentic and serious Star Wars costumes here, that's why I mentioned I wanted to see "more and more" as I can see (as the excellently and fully authentic looking Scout Trooper above proves) there ARE kick a** costumes which could have come straight from the movies! Actually I'm really impressed and glad to see (like the young Scout Trooper above) authentic costumes here and my wish was just hoping more Malaysians would join (including myself!).
In fact, what triggered me to come back to life (defrosting from the Carbon freezing so to speak...haha) was I happened to come across a Star Wars armour costume seller who makes the complete set for a very reasonable price which suits well within my budget.... So, thanks for your encouragement and I never had the intention or thought to insult or anything like that to our existing costumers, on the contrary I think their dedication in terms of time, effort, financially, family/household obligations and their sheer determination and imagination to make that perfect costume speaks for itself and earns my respect for which I can only envy. As I tried to say earlier and I say it again, no matter who or where or what, I believe I will eventually end up in a Star Wars shining armour costume (I think I just can't get around it...hehe ). It's just a matter of time.... who knows....maybe this year I'll be able to realise it... ;D
BTW, this young Scout Trooper comes from where? (Southern neighbours....Singapore outpost?)

I'll be RESPONDING to your detailed BUT nevertheless Interesting Post in kind in your thread : Any Customs problems for Star Wars armour parts?BTW, this young Scout Trooper comes from where? (Southern neighbours....Singapore outpost?) FYI, this YOUNG (Singaporean) costumer who made this Scout Trooper costume in this pic is BELOW Legal Age, 18 yo. IF a youngster like him can make the effort to make this KICK-@$$ Biker Scout costume, we are sure that you can come up with a Star Wars costume that is on PAR or even better with all the R&D that you've been mentioning in your 2005 posts!
