I'm not sure when he will get the back packs done i don't know where he finds the time to sleep to be honest aswell as the kits he does on ebay he does work on tv shows and theatrical productions and i know of a couple of other big projects he is working on too he also supplies parts to other people too that sell built blasters on ebay so he's a busy man ;D Wow I SALUTE both the TALENT and STAMINA of this UK props maker then. Do keep us updated when he eventually gets your Backpack done. BTW what is the color of the Shoulder Pauldron for your up and coming Sandtrooper costume : Orange/White/Black?Thanks for the compliments mate. The Gun Scope that you see in my picture is actually a resin casted M19 Gun Scope that is used in the TESB Styled DL-44 props and painted black. May I ask where did you get your Original M38 Scope from?Uh huh ...and Dan's the MAN!

Yep will definitely let everyone know when the backpacks are ready I have an orange pauldron which came with my FX armour when i have the money though i plan to upgrade my armour to a set of TM's it's stunning isn't it and i'll get one of Seths accurate pauldrons. I got the scope about a year ago off a member on the blaster builders club forum. And yeah Dans stuff is superb Clutch's AT-AT driver costume he did from Dans kit is unbelievable i'm sure your Commander will be too. I thought about doing a standard snowtrooper ages ago but i couldn't find anyone reliable to get a duster and pouches off.

Peter, the M38 scope is still available now and then through the forums. Post a WTB thread and see what happens. Be prepared to cough up a small fortune for one though if and when it becomes available. I got mine through ASAP 2 years ago and it cost me around US$130 + shipping.
My real M19 cost me almost double that. However recently I've seen one go for around US$150.
Now all I need is a real vintage Hensoldt & Wetzlar Ziel Dialyth 3x scope, and a real single point scope to complete the collection. ;D

Pol thanks for the information on how much you've acquired your M19 and M38 Gun Scopes for, and also how to acquire these from therpf.com For the meantime I'll make do with this presentable looking resin casted replica of the M19 Gun Scope for my TESB version DL-44 conversion project. I've requested Corellian Exports to drill two holes so that it can be screwed onto the machined Aluminium Gun Mount. Much work needs to be done to SAW OFF the existing Toy Gun Scope & Mount and the "cooling fins" on the stock, WITHOUT taking out too much of the plastic with it. Fortunately I have procured some TAMIYA Styrene Sheets to cover the exposed areas on the gun stock after the cutting has been done. ;D
Hope you will get your Vintage Hensoldt & Wetzlar Ziel Dialyth 3x Scope and the single point scope on day to complete your collection, or are you in the process of acquiring/trading for these scopes already?

Defstartrooper, you're more than welcome to share with us when you have acquired your Sandtrooper Backpack. As for me I'll be getting mine sometime during Fall from a fellow MEPD member who has many satisfied Sandies in the making who has purchased from him. . I'll see when I can get my fabricated Sandtrooper Backpack frame done up from hollow Aluminium pipes that I have in my inventory.
Yeah TM's Sandtrooper armor looks great and I'll be getting some parts from him soon to complete my TK to TD Armor conversion before the weathering process. ;DGood for you mate, hope you acquired it for a reasonable price.I'd say an "AYE" to that after reading through the pages of Clutch's AT-AT Driver costume project thread in the Costuming section of www.therpf.com . Without a doubt my PENDING to soon-to-be completed Snowtrooper Commander costume will have hallmarks of Dan's superior craftsmanship as my Helmet, Shoulder Bells, Torso Armo and Greeblies and Armored Forearms will be made by the MAN himself. I'll be ready for deployment in the 501st Blizzard Force detachment after I have assembled all these hard parts that will be forthcoming from Dan. Gary, have you checked with the Snowtrooper costumers in the 501st UK Garrison on where they procured their Dusters and Pouches? I have seen quite a number of UK based Snowtroopers deployed in the 501st Blizzard Force forums who have some nice looking Dusters and Pouches. They might be able to offer some valuable assistance to you.
