Is it THE "Aliens" as in James Cameron's Aliens where you get violent scenes of hapless Marines getting picked off one by one by the badass aliens? Game over man! Game over... The moral of the story: Send in Zombie Snake. He'll know what to do heheheheheh JK On a more serious note, is there anyone planning to make the Marines' uniform?

Unless your parents don't mind fronting you RM XXXX to spend on this, BEST do ALL the research you can as these will come in handy one day.
One of my FaceBook contact is 16 Years old from the US, and he owns an impressive set of Biker Scout armor and costume. I suppose he comes from a well to do family or his dad / uncle is a props maker.

Pitied the few Colonial Marines who died early in the movie w/o even knowing what got them. Back to the costuming part. So far I've not come across anyone doing the Marines' uniform, maybe partly cos of the high cost and/or difficulty in obtaining the parts, especially the Thompson, I guess. To me, I notice that Malaysians are more towards the anime cosplay side than the movies. Just an observation, not generalizing ya, nor that there's anything wrong with it Looking forward to see you in that cool alien suit you described Just remember not to "facehug" me (or any other method of disposing of me) at the Outpost

Basically, i would use my own money to buy it and not my parent's. Besides that, i dun tink my parents would agree to buy for me. They will say its a waste of money. So i hv to buy it secretly.

Do come back the next 7 to 8 years, or sooner, if or when you've acquired the bug alien suit, put it together and show us pics or videos with you wearing it.

Thearbiter8, are you of "legal" age to work during school vacations? Cause if really want to get the suit earlier, can try working during your school holidays and save up that money towards getting the suit in few year's time. In between, can also save up some of your allowances, maybe a few ringgit a week or even your extra change from every other day. I know it's tempting to break the bank in order to get the latest "Wants" but you could try. One of my FaceBook contact is 16 Years old from the US, and he owns an impressive set of Biker Scout armor and costume. I suppose he comes from a well to do family or his dad / uncle is a props maker. Why look so far? Down here in Singapore we got a non-garrison member who bought and worn his first Biker Scout Armor and troop with us when he's 15 and now is the 17-year-old Clone Trooper. Understand that he's trying to "save up" for either a Scout Armor to replace the one he swap for the Clone or Mandalorian. And yes, he live in a Condo and studying at an International School ( and yes, he's a local). To me, I notice that Malaysians are more towards the anime cosplay side than the movies. Just an observation, not generalizing ya, nor that there's anything wrong with it Not only in Malaysia lah but kinda all over the world, even here in Singapore. Cosplaying is the "In" thing now, especially among teen and can be cheaper to do than our Costuming/Movies/Comic Costumes so seems more attractive to teen. The "more" Mass Media Attention it get also contributed to it ( not sure if this is true too in Malaysia) And contary to most people mentality, Costuming is actually Evergreen and one could still make a costume or armor from movies long gone just in the name of love for it. But most people dun realize this and think the "In" thing are better than Retro. Ironically, when seen "trooping" in public, Movie Characters are more popular among the public than the Anime/Manga/J-Game/JRock Characters, even when the public not sure what's the name of the character.
