YYeah, a weather a must if one wished to have weathered armor. If weather doesn't cut it, try taking some dirt, mud, dirtied water, etc and spend some hours doing it that way.

Greetings Shukree and welcome to the group. If weather doesn't cut it, try taking some dirt, mud, dirtied water, etc and spend some hours doing it that way. Unfortunately, Dirt, Mud, Dirtied Water will run off when the Rain comes down apart from dirtying other people's props, helmet, costume etc. Heard the story of the Singapore Snowtrooper? He had happily dirtied his suit and then after an event, his wife washed the suit thinking it was dirty. A White Snowtrooper we gotten again. If want to permanently weather armor, paint is your best friend. I know some of the troopers here used Tamiya/Model Paint while others used Spray Paint or Acrylic Paints. One method I learned is to spray a bit of the paint on an old Sock and quickly dab it onto the spots you want to weather. Or if you got the tool, an Airbrush or maybe cover the parts you don't want to get painted with Low Tack Tape. Did a mistake? Keep a bottle of Goo Gone or Armor Polisher at hand. After you had done the weathering, if kiasu, can give the item a layer of Matte Finisher. Good luck

Hello Haldir, First of, thanks for the warm welcome man. Secondly...can the armour polish (which is usually included in the armour kit) really clean up the arcylic paint on the armour? I mean really really clean it up..or does it still leaves a light yellowish stain on the armour?
