Hey, I really like the moody lighting on those TIE pics Hish (the elegant white patterning of the docking bay floor is worthy of note too ). That's definately the best thing to ever come from The Star news paper. ;D

The grand prize was a life sized Stormtrooper statue... the winner had to come to the Star's office with a hired lorry to claim it. ;D Hisham do you have the e-mail contact of the Indian guy from Klang who WON that life sized STORMTROOPER figure. If you do, please pass it on to me. Thanks! ;D

Sorry, no. It wasn't me that went to pick up my merchandise, as I was busy at work far, far away... in Terengganu. My dad went in my stead. So I didn't actually meet the guy.

I wonder if this guy is a member of any local forums?

Fulamak, Hisham,
I really do admire your pics. It's real devastating and moody.

I wonder if this guy is a member of any local forums? That is a very good question indeed, the last time I had an opportunity to talk to this Indian guy from Klang was about 5 years ago. Unfortunately we sort of LOST contact after that.

I have that TIE in my closet somewhere. Me and Heath took the windsheild out of it in hopes of attatching it to the front of a video camera and doing a mini movie with it.

Heh, yeah I remember that contest. Sent in around 10 entries or so. And I got a consolation as well. So, same prizes as Hisham. What was your slogan Hisham? ;D
Now I have 2 TIE Fighters to go with my Vader TIE. I got the other TIE for RM20 at some Parkson sale a loooong time ago.
The life sized Stormie was a Don Post, originally costing USD4,500... Some pics here:
