yeah fishyahoo. last time i asked the same thing. Are the clones not intelligent enough so much so they need 3 to pilot a starfighter? The same goes for AT-RT, I don't see how it can be an offensive vehicle since it only has one laser weapon that looks like it can only make damage as much as an ordinary clone blaster gun. Plus, it has no shielded cockpit like AT-ST. Might as well just stick to speeder bike. Do you guys know what's a AT-PT? read it when i was reading about AT-Rt in starwars databank.

AT-RT = All Terrain Recon Transport, right? Hence big gun not a requirement. However, I still agree a hovering speeder bike makes more sense for recon... silent, leaves no trace, and really fast getaway. AT-PT - All Terrain Personnel Transport? Think this was in a book... carry troopers perhaps...

Unpacked Plo Koon's Starfighter... I like! But issues with practical use again if in real life... those extendable wing flaps will block pilot's starboard and port views also, althought not as much as the EpIII version which has larger flaps. Plus the side blast-off panels seem a waste. Like these panels are going to need replacement every so often because they are ejected from the starfighter and assume not retrieved in the midst of battle. Also with these hidden weapons, seems like Jedi are trying to be deceptive by being seen as unarmed but yet bristling with multiple blasters and missles once the panels are ejected... Anyway, as starfighter toy/model I really like the overall look and feel, better than the EpIII version. Pics and review coming soon.

Obi-Wan Kenobi with his Jedi StarfighterStarfighter looks rather plastic but guess that's the problem with all Hasbro vehicle toys... I prefer this colour scheme to the Toys'R'Us exclusive version though. It's a relatively heavy piece, the starfighter. Press a buttom behind under the engines and the wing flaps flick open (argh, forgot pic)... although stupid design IMO as it restricts the pilots side views in combat. 2 missles on each wing can be fired although never sighted this in the movie. There are two landing gears which can be rotated out towards the front of the starfighter for landing position but they aren't very rigid so exerted any weight on the bow will push the landing gear back in. Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter pilot figure fits very well into the spacious cockpit (compared to EpII version), although found it absolutely silly that it comes with a rigid cloak which cannot be worn inside the cockpit as in the movies. Need to redress Obi-Wan in a cloth robe if to sit inside the cockpit as in the movie. The R4 droid is a rotating dome only clipped into the starfighter hull. It can be removed with space to log in an R2/R4 unit but it can't sit properly or fully inside such that it'll look ridiculous. Better stick to the 'fake' R4 which comes with the starfighter. Still, it think this starfighter is a cool vehicle to have in the collection, although I haven't got any Droid Tri-Fighter to blast yet with it. Now, should I pair this one up with Anakin's Starfighter and get conned into buying another recoloured starfighter... My 2 cents on Plo Koon's starfighter shortly...
