when's Super Star Destroyer coming out ? There are couple massive fanmade. Something which will weigth alot. I have seen the actual SSD used on ROTJ, even that is very impressive. Had my change to meet Lorne Peterson whos team on LFL made it. Once SSD Executor was completed and they turned the lightsystem on, some hissing sound was heard. Parts were melting due the heat produced by powerful lights. After that incident, special airpressure hose was attached from bellyside to keep parts cool. Richard: Are you aware of bending issue of Lego UCS Stardestroyer? Around the world this kit has caused bended parts and it needs modifications to do before building the kit. Nice to say "before" now when I see your kit completed. I made those and mine is in safe. It will add one supporting leg and plenty of new superstructure bricks inside.

Ah, not aware of that... do the part get permanently bent? Is there a link somewhere for the modification?

when's Super Star Destroyer coming out ? I don't think there will ever be a Super Star Destroyer, but it may happen, as this fan had proven to be very resourceful and have managed to create an actual lego replica of a Super Star Destroyer. www.mocpages.com/moc.php/1549Sorry for this slightly off topic post, but to get back on the right track. Thank you for bringing to our attention the Lego ISD bending issue Kai. Now that I think of it, I thought that those two supporting legs were not enough.

Wow... Thank you very much Kai! The pics are helpful I see the strengthened superstructure did the trick, the front leg looks simple and yet useful. Thanks again Kai. With this new information, our Star Destroyers will stand strong!

My primary source to get additional bricks for ISD was Bricklink.
I do also have some other pretty huge Star Wars Lego things. My pride is diorama of "Emperor's arrival to Deathstar." It took many bothans to complete. Well over 100 imperial are standing on formation as Emperor meets Lord Vader.

Oh, Lego has just informed they are taking preorders for new Falcon set. Biggest Lego set ever! +5000 pieces is huge amount of bricks. www.fbtb.net/Has some videoclips and pics too as the official Lego site. This seems fragile as Stardestroyer. There even isn't anything inside of it, which is big dissappointment.
