For the benefit of our non-Bahasa Malaysia speaking members:"apa ni encik? panjang ni" ("what is this long package sir?")"err ini pedang laser" ("Eeer...this is a laser sword") [Note: saying that its a lightsaber will only get a confused look on the custom officer's face, unless by some miracle he's also a SW fan]
"apa? pedang!?? mana boleh bawak masuk pedang" ("What? Sword? You can not bring in a sword!") [Note: Malaysia have very stricy weapons control, even knifes and swords] At which point you'd wave your hand in front of the custom officer and say :
"Oh, Ini pedang mainan saja, encik boleh lalu" ("Oh, its only a toy sword, you may pass sir")

What about the Park Sabers? From the website they seem pretty spiffy.. prices are standard skyhigh expensive..
Hmms, wonder if I'll be the only one showing up at the Midnight Fiesta with a Hasbro lightsaber.. ;D
Oh wait, I just diverted from the MR Saber Discussion....oops!

Yes you just diverted from the MR Saber Discussion
Juz kidding, its oklah, I'll juz get the admin to start a new thread titles 'EL & LCD Sabers' and move these posts there
Oh Mighty admin, plese make it so!
Ok back to parks sabers...from what I heard(or read, rather), Parks sabers are as good as they come in terms of styling + attention to detail on the hilt, blade brightness and durability. Another plus side is that the Parks blades can be detached so that you can wear the hilt with your costume.
Yes the price is one of the main factors why I still haven't bought one.

Have a friend showing up with a Hasbro lightsaber with an extra one as well which I'll borrowing for the night. Will probably procure a Hasbro ROTS one that night. Was offered an 8-year old Hasbro lightsaber (POTJ, mid-1990's?) for about RM50. Good deal? Hmm... topic diversion... need master more Jedi admin 'powers' to move individual posts...

My Vader is both the POTF2 Orange and Green Box and if it had gone at RM50 each, I would had gotten double or more like I did for QGJ Lightsabres. Unless the one you're offered is a loose piece.

Hmmm... it wasn't there when I placed my order... and it was shipped without any charges. albeit by economy FedEx courier instead of express FedEx. They must've changed that after my order. Sorry! ;D
