Haldir and Saber MasterI believe that he is qualified to become a member of the Rebel Legion www.rebellegion.com, eh Darth_Eagle? Just wondering, does the 501st and the RL have strict rules about how accurate or realistic a costume need to be before they grant membership? For example can a Jedi costume made of an oversized white shirt, black baggy pants, a cotton cloak fashioned after a raincoat and a pair of dress boots be accepted into the RL?

For example can a Jedi costume made of an oversized white shirt, black baggy pants, a cotton cloak fashioned after a raincoat and a pair of dress boots be accepted into the RL? The Tabbards and Obi is missing as they seems to be the important part of a typical regular Prequel Jedi Knight Costume. And the White Shirt is recommanded to be a proper Karate Gi that fit the wearer ( not too baggy) and don't have any of the patch that usual seen on it. Heehee, White & Black is an unconventinal color combi for a Jedi but I know someone who wore White Jedi Suit with Black Obi and Tabbards. The critias are not actually THAT strict with The Rebel Legion the last time I checked, especially with Jedi Knights. But here's the basic guideline followed: Article VII: Costuming Standardswww.rebellegion.com/about.asp?ID=8#artVIIIf you look through the list of members, some are obviously costumes that was assembled in one nite with most parts actually regular clothings combined together appropriately, and they might had joined the Legion during its early years. The 501st Legion is a bit harder as the bad guys costumes/armor are mostly uniformed or harder to do. And the membership process can get messy sometimes. Yes, SITHOverLORD, think your friend can get through the Rebel Legion if he applied properly.

Yes, they both qualified from what I can tell in the photos. Here's the UK Garrison at a theme park outing last year. Impressive! garysheriston.fotopic.net/c277696.html

But of course, this is in the name of Parody so it's very funny. ;D That'll be cool if done in Malaysia and Singapore too BUT I'm afraid of what the cosplayers' reaction on seeing it if it gets into the Mass Media. Singapore ones especially don't like Parody, especially when the beards & hairs are thrown in.
