Yeah, the double blade. I see you already read VarthDader's thread about MR's upcoming products for '06. So it looks like Maul's saber will be appear as a Force FX. Nice!
I understand that MR will make one side of the Maul saber only, so if we want the double blade we have to buy two Maul sabers and connect them together. If can only afford one, then just pretend it's the Battle Damaged version

A double bladed FX lightsaber version might not be feasible eventhough it would be absolutely awesome IMO ;D . Most likely the version that's gonna come out would be either the battle damage version or the first encounter with Qui-gon version where only one saber was used while the other end was left unused. I'm betting with the battle damaged version if they ever gonna come out with one...

True... A double bladed FX lightsaber would be much too long and irksome to handle. Still, that doesn't give us the reason to stop hoping that they will release a double bladed FX lightsaber rather than the battle damaged one.

Since they are making only 1 side, it's technically the Battle Damaged one. But a separate adapter is provided according to some infos so you can still turn it into Double Lightsabres if gotten 2. Gonna try make this FX Double Maul Lightsabre my 2nd FX Lightsabre as need it for my Sith Costume ( her other Lightsabre)

Has this current information been released in the newsletter you all get in the mail? IS this on the website? Any information on the Obi Wan one? Also if they do break can they be repaired?

I got the information from reading the report on MR's upcoming products at the galactichunter site. It is not on MR's site yet. The article did state that we can have a Maul double blade but we'll have to buy two of the sabers and connect them together.
No info on Obi-Wan's saber.
I suppose it's the same with all the other Force FX sabers...if they break, they break for good. Unless you know how to fix the thing. That's why MR says it's not a toy and should not be used to strike objects.
