There was one guy on 23rd May Fan Event wearing Scout Trooper cardboard armour, he doesnt even have the shoulder bells on, but he looks COOL! and it is his rights to be in costume with PRIDE, for me its better for him in costume than just came in wearing normal jeans n shirts, no matter how clumsy the armour would appear to certain ppl. FYI that is our forum member NinJaguar and he has shared with me that his custom made Biker Scout costume has received some good and commendable feedbacks from www.studiocreation.com. He has also indicated his interest in joining the 501st Malaysian Outpost that will be formed under the MySciFiFan umbrella. ;D

Wouldn't Hasbro be happy for the Contingent to parade around 'endorsing' their action figures....? ;D More to come shortly...

...and return to what the original topic is about, i.e. Star Wars Costume Contingent Gatherings, which are Star Wars costumed appearances at MySciFiFan events.
Further off-topic posts may be DELETED.
Thanks.

Hi all, I seldom post here but here I am now... We from the other side of the Galaxy not so far away (Sg)...are all SW fans just as yourselves... Peter and I known each other for some time and we help each other with our costumes and enjoy the fun also... FACT: We all want nicer costumes and we try to share knowledge and exchange...even my Vader costume is not perfect but I dont care also...im having fun.. =) Thats what costuming is all about...over here in Sg and KL... We all costumers have a common enemy....you know who they are...... They are those cowardly clowns who like to be macho and bob us on our helmets/ heads...and laugh like monkeys.. Focus our anger on them instead and be cool amongst our world of costumers... =) Anyway..Im making a diplomatic trip to your part of the Galaxy this Sunday and hope to meet up with a few of u... Regards Lord Tyranno

Hi guys, I'm Marcus here from Singapore - the tallest stormie amongst the three in Singapore Thanks for the mention Peter. This is my first post, so be nice to me. In my opinion, the picture in Celebration III with the guy in the bucket on his head and two toiletbrushes is the TRUE stormtrooper. LOL!! Can anyone post a pic of that here?

If my credit card have stopped smoldering by then, *cough* *cough*, I'll try and be there. Sounds like it's gonna be a blast.
Yeah, that happened to me too 3 yrs back with my TIE, but only once. I just waved my hand at first, but after looking back, I *sometimes* wished I had walked up to him from behind, and return the favour... But not nice lah... eh? Maybe I'll just lift up my helmet and say "Look, I have a head inside. What do YOU have under that BUCKET??!! A smaller head and even smaller brain!" I know, i know... it sounds corny. Maybe someone can think of something else...
