Great... another crappy entry into the already-turning-sour product line. How much more can MR milk this? The Obi ROTS saber that they released before this was absolutely horrendous with its extra large fat neck. I wonder if the Yoda is gonna be true to size to a vintage Kobold flash?

I wonder if the Yoda is gonna be true to size to a vintage Kobold flash? He he he...that's a common misconception...its a Praco flash and not a Kobold. The Kobold is for the droid caller. ;D
Anyway don't think its possible to cram all the electronics into a Proco-size hilt. You've seen my Yoda saber made from a real Praco and you know how tiny it is.
Even the CGI Yoda saber in EP2 & 3 needed to be enlarged slightly, and elongated by about an inch to make it more visible on screen.

Hi guys, Yoda's saber is shorter than normal ones, only 33inches.

Hi guys, Yoda's saber is shorter than normal ones, only 33inches. Yes we know the overall length of the FX saber. What we're trying to determine is if the HILT is true to its original dimentions, be it the one in the VD (5 7/8 long, 1 1/4 inch diameter), or the CGI version (slightly wider and longer then the VD version).

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the MR FX Yoda Saber and my VD(Visual Directory) Yoda Saber made from a real vintage Praco flashgun.
The proportions look pretty much the same here.
And then I did another one using the overall length of 33 inches including the blade, and the known dimensions of my Praco Yoda Saber as a basis for comparison. Now the differences immediately become obvious.
As suspected (and expected), MR couldn't stay true to the VD Yoda saber, or even the CGI Yoda saber's dimensions, due to the various electronics and batteries that needed to go into the FX saber.

Hi Plo, Didn't know Yoda sabre is made from praco flashgun. I think MR sabres won't have exact dimensions, but from far it looks identical to the original plus it has motion sensor sound to make it believeable.
