Hi, this may be a little off the topic but, this last month or so Ive seen a lot of posts on armor but none on weaponry. Do any of you guys have authentic looking blasters and cannons to look at, I'm not talking about the little plastic, flashing light jobs. Ive seen the kicking lightsabers on display at the Outpost but not any real guns like Han's German Mauser-like blaster, Chewie's bolo-crossbow rifle, stormtrooper blasters, snowtrooper's mounted cannon or even the Naboo compact pin-barrel-ish pistols. cassiel do you have ANY pictures of those weapon props in your collection that you will like to share with us here in MySciFiFan forums? ;D

Heheh, If I did, then I wouldn't be asking now would I? Actually, I'm a non-combatant. I dont own any costumes or armor (except maybe that old gimp suit in the back of the closet, but that's another story) but I do find most of it fascinating. I have always loved the lowly stormtrooper even tho they were crap at shooting rebels and I wanted to own a set of ST armor for many years back in my school days. Nowadays, not so much, unless I start making some real money soon.

Maybe its because its ILLEGAL to own any of those weapons in Malaysia? ;D
Even if anyone here (those residing in Malaysia at least) have anything like that, it'd be foolish to flaunt it in a public forum.
I do, however, have some of the parts for the E-11 Storm Trooper blaster, but only the parts that's LEGAL to own in Malaysia.
You can have a look at them HERE.
I may one day complete an E-11 blaster using those parts, PVC piping, and other scratch-built parts.

I was talking about replicas sans any firing pins but you're right. More's the pity. Those M41-A Pulse Rifles are looking mighty tasty tho.

I was talking about replicas sans any firing pins but you're right. More's the pity. Any form of pistol/rifle looking thing is illegal to own, and to display in Malaysia, if I'm not mistaken.
Even toy shops who managed to bring in Master Replica blasters/rifles don't dare to display it openly.
That's why all toy guns you find in shops are either smaller then actual size, or painted weird colours. Try selling a 1:1 size toy gun that look like the real thing and you'll have the cops paying you a visit real soon. Those M41-A Pulse Rifles are looking mighty tasty tho. Yes they're YUMMY! However I have yet to encounter anyone who managed to bring in one through the proper channels
