Heard about this in the forums sometime ago but it was only a rumour back then. Not many (including myself) were very enthusiastic about it.
It looks to be basically a more sophisticated (and more expensive) version that was made by Hasbro sometime ago (LINK).
The hilts from this new MR kit are just as inaccurate as the other MR FX sabers (in order to accommodate the electronics) and that's what made this item undesirable. Good for casual fans and kids but not for serious saber collectors.
Did a quick search on Google and the only place that has pics seem to be Simply Toys. That in itself is quite curious. The only other place with anything on it is jedinews.co.uk, and even they refer to the Simply Toys article. I subscribe to the official MR newsletter and never got any news through that source. The Force FX section of Master Replicas Website also do not show the kit.
If anyone really want to get one I'd suggest wait for a few months and pick one up for cheap on ebay, when dealers offload the stock that's piling up in their warehouse.

Yeah, but given the fact that these are Force FX, innacuracy is already a foregone conclusion, dude. The hilts would be definitely larger to accomodate the electronics and batteries. Those looking for accurate sized replicas shouldn't be looking at Force FXs to begin with.

Well, some of the Force FX sabers like the ones based on the MPP & the Graflex are almost accurate, at least to the untrained eye.
The Force FX Mace EP3 saber I have is very close to accurate, and I'm quite happy with it, since I can't afford the uber accurate one made by Korbanth
MR should have just stuck with the MPP & Graflex designs for this kit to minimise on the inaccuracy.
