Initially I was thinking of posting all the pics that skinheads99 have e-mailed to me at MySciFiFan's STAR WARS Props & Costumes section, after muchconsideration I'd reckon that it is the more appropriate thread for his Inti College SJ's production play titled : AUP WARS Episode IV : A NEW JOKE :

Preparing for the Production of AUP WARS Episode IV : A NEW JOKE

Since SkinHeads99 have indicated that the fight scenes between his Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader was acted out in front of the BLUE Screen, we have a pic of the camera man preparing for the shoot :




Hand Made Costumes of AUP WARS Episode IV : A NEW JOKE

SkinHeads99 has indicated that the director, made FULL hand-made costumes of Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, C3-PO and R2-D2. I have posted the pics of of the some of the WORK In PROGRESS and Finished Work :

the actor on the extreme right is wearing the completed Hand Made C-3PO costume together with his fellow actors in their Hand Made STORMTROOPER and DARTH VADER costumes.

The Lightsaber Duel between OBI-SIF KENOBI and DARTH VADER

Here are some more photos from SkinHeads99 to depict how the filming of the Classic L/Saber duel between Obi-Sif Kenobi and his former pupil Darth Vader was acted out and shot for AUP Wars Episode IV : A NEW JOKE

After drawing his Jedi strenght from the Living Force, Obi-Sif Kenobi (SkinHeads99 ) is armed and ready with his Hasblow Light Saber to face his Sith Lord opponent!


4. We MEET again Obi-Sif Kenobi !!



Former Jedi Master and Padawan learner crosses Light Sabers again since their last deadly duel on Mustafar! Darth Vader with a Hasblow BLUE Light Saber too?! WTF!


5. You POWERS are WEAK Old Man!!



The Light Saber duel intensifies between Obi-Sif Kenobi and DARTH VADER!! Perhaps the Blue Screen backdrop is where the POST Production - Visual Effects will be added?

Hmmm....we at MySciFiFan forums just wonder.....

Well done, well done. Can't wait to see the full length version of this Malaysian made SW fan film!

Maybe we can get a copy for screening sometime during the week of the ROTS premier?

Looks like we have found the group with the know-how to make MySciFiFan's own fan film using members of our Costumed Contingent as actors ;D

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. SITHOverLord for putting up our humble play pictures. This play was initially a simple (spoof) story the director penned down...his name is Mr. Andrew Gooi. As you can see from the pictures above, he designed and built ALL of the masks and costumes. The cameraman is actually the director himself...he also did the screenplay and the visual effects rendering. So, I guess a huge portion of credit should go to him. As any other play or sketch, we encounter numerous problems, namely - not enough time...so, the play is a bit flawed (so to speak). We were supposed to perform on a stage but due to last minute changes, we performed the play in a small room. Anyway, I will send a copy of the DVD we made to Mr. SITHOverLord so anyone interested may view it. It has the play itself, the making of, production pictures and a short montage. That's all for now, but before I go, I would request ant person viewing this page to add their comments, be it good or bad. Thanks again.

Fulamak........blue screen, gorilla in the mist, Obi Wan, a young Vader and a local Luke.......from the pic, that looks fun and interesting to see how the New Joke will be.

Anyway, all the members managed to see the crew certainly put a commendable effort. The Leia looks nice.....bet she would be a pretty Amidala. The gorilla creature.....i dont know.....entah mana punya Cantina dia lepas.It looks promising if the creature can maul Leia.....heheheheheh
