Actually we don't know if the SW vehicles in the earlier pics are associated with this themed restaurant, but its hung right next to it on the other side of the structure...[/color] |

Ah... Well, chances are, the ships are connected to the SF theme park / deli. They have it on display even before the rest of the place were fully constructed. If it was an once-off thing for some kind of SW events, heh... I think one of us would have heard about it and the community will also know too in mere days. ;D
I wish I know who made the ships too... but it is definately not on the 1:1 scale. Closer might be 1/6 scale but it is hard to judge as it is hung some distance away and the scale is not precise... certain parts would look really disporportionate.

I don't think its 1/6. From the size of R2's dome I think its more like 1/2.
Its pretty big.

Yup... that is why I said it was a bit disporportionate. I would say 1:2 or maybe 2:5 for Artoo too... but then the X-wing might still look too small to fit a human comfortably. Unless it is a fairly small human. Want to jump across the barricade and grab hold of it and then we can measure to our heart's content? Surely you are strong enough in the Force, Pol to keep your touch fairly light? RFTs go straight down and die immediately.  |
