thank you datazak. there is no way that translator can translate already translated English into Madarin back into English without knowing the lines and good English. yeah, it's a good laugh, but come on, translating a bootleg?

Translating using babelfish directly? wah, what a genius choice.... funny that this been mention. some original dvd that came from State, dont have translation.... have a fren who lost his hearing & couldnt enjoy the movie. that's pretty unfair

i did some homework. Episode III Revenge of the SIth titled in Mandarin : I'm thinking they translated it by listening to the movie. the characters no.1 and 2 are read as xi si, giving the close sound of Sith. If the translator only heard the pronounciation of xi si, he could come to the conclusion that it was "west", become xi means "west". characters no.3 and 4 are read da di, meaning "lord". character no.5 is read de, meaning "of". characters no. 6 and 7 are read as fu cou, meaning "revenge". but that doesn't sound even close to "backstroke" ? somebody help me out ?

ah the link is gone, shoud go here now if you still want to check it out. and now i'm thinking if cou was heard so hou meaning "back", it could make som (non)sense. and fu could be interpreted as "a return" or a "stroke" or "backhand" ? so put 2 and 2 .. does it make some (non)sense for fu cou to end up sounding like fu hou to make it "backhand" or "backstroke" ? geeez, translating is so much fun.

Maybe for the most of us. But The Edge has explained it very well indeed.
