As posted 08 Sep 2008 at 11:37 at the Rebel Legion Malaysian Outpost Forum: www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13573Post subject: Nomination thread: Malaysian Outpost COThis is the nomination thread for commander of Malaysian Outpost. According to the Rebel Legion charter, nominations may be made starting 12:01 A.M. EST September 8th and continue until 11:59 P.M. EST, September 19th.
All nominations must be seconded. A member may nominate themselves but that will require a second and third nomination. Standing officers must post their desire to seek another term or decline to seek another term (no response is considered a decline). No second is required for standing officers.
If no nominations are made for a particular office by 11:59 P.M. EST September 19th, then the officers holding these positions will remain in office. If a standing Outpost or Base Commander does not seek another term and no nominations are made for that unit, the XO must accept or decline being promoted to CO. If the XO declines (no response is considered a decline) then the Legion Council is empowered to appoint a new CO or to consider having the unit absorbed into a neighboring unit due to lack of leadership.
NOTE: If your outpost’s nomination process is occurring off site, please post a link to that thread here and make sure it is viewable by the council and CoG.

Okay guys, I've received feedback that the Rebel Legion website has been a little problematic (displaying page errors), especially yesterday and earlier today. If it hasn't stabilized for all our members by tomorrow morning, we'll move the election thread to this forum and post the link back to Legion Command so they can watch our progress.

I was just there and had no problem. Even left a post in the 'roll call' thread...
But then again my Midiclorine count have been phenomenal these few days ;D

Aye, I agree. Things are a lot more stable now. I have just popped in and out around 7pm today. No problems. This morning I could only go into the forum once for every four tries at my office... and none at all from my home. So, if all goes well... we should continue to post in the RL forums instead.

So far I seemed to be having the most issues with accessing the site (way past the initial error screen period earlier) but that seems to have cleared up now thanks to a remedial measure from Rhyden. I'm clear to go now. See you guys at the RL forum!
