Imperial Royal Guard

I know that it's been a long time since I've posted anything in here (even the Anike thread has been "frozen" ) and I feel that I should share my latest venture into the world of costuming...

I am currently in the process of making my first 501st-qualifying costume, the Imperial Royal Guard. I intend to have the costume made in the ROTS style, with two arm slits instead of one, like the ROTJ design. Below are some in-progress pics of the costume. Please note that these pics have been posted on www.forcepike.com.

My goddaughter and I in RG helmets. I'm wearing mine, in its original condition, while Diha has Sith_OverLord's helmet, already painted and a veteran of several troopings.

That Imperial Stormtrooper is actually TK 2870 from the 501st MALAYSIA-BRUNEI OUTPOST.

Hey Earendil,

Wow, where did you get the RG helmet, did you buy it or made it?

I think its easier to move around with two arm slits and the robe might look better if its longer a bit.

Its a 'vintage' Don Post RG helmet, and its still 'officially' mine ;D

Hey Joey, fancy seeing you here! I understand you finally completed the last mold for your CE armor! The final chest armor looks awesome, big improvement from your initial 'boxier' prototype.

Man how long ago did you start this project? Back in '05 was it? Good to know that you're finally able to make these available to the public.

Do post some pics of your other armor pieces here for all to see. I'm sure you'll get a few inquiries

I had trouble seeing the armour. My eyes kept focusing on carrie fishers cleavage in the background

Just kidding. Armour looks great. Reminds me i must re-read Crimson Empire sometime
