After serious considerations, I finally decided to buy this costume. The transaction is currently in process and shipment will happen in 4 weeks...Despite it is expensive, but at least I fulfilled my dream to be in this costume after so many years...I guess I'm gonna fasten my belt for months to come LOL Looking forward to join you all!! Regards, Darth Raider Darth Raider, the MySciFiFan STAR WARS Costumed Contingent SALUTES you on your decision.
However, for your benefit and other MySciFiFan members as well I will like to post what has been mentioned by an official from the 501st Legion with regards to this Rubies Supreme Edition Darth Vader suit,
"...that's why the Rubies suit will not be accepted for membership. It may sound elite but you must look like you just walked out of the movies.
I was one of the troops working the Transworld trade show for Rubies. I spent alot of time looking at the Vader suit along with all of their other offerings. They are still simply making Halloween Costumes.
The fiberglass helmet is nice but even that needs sanding, new paint and detailing.
Spend your money on making the real thing. the Rubies shortcut will get you nothing but headaches. "
I hope nobody gets offended by this comments, but I believe that it is important and essential for MySciFiFan members to know. To READ more this was posted in the www.501stsithlords.com forums (that I've just recently joined at mansugi's suggestion) Rubies Deluxe Vader[/b][/color]

Thanks folks! However, I'm still resolving the payment issue encountered which will cause delays, sigh... Anyway, I'm aware of the 501st notice. Thanks again for reminder. For me, I guess Rubie's Supreme is the best I can go for as custom made costume will definitely cost lots more...If $$ is not an issue (if I have my salary in USD), chances are I already got my armors from VaderPainter... Regards, Darth Raider

Yeah...I was away for some time due to work and travel... As with the delivery date, I don't have any update at this moment, but certainly will let you guys know once I have the info. Meanwhile, gonna find some time to look for a affordable boots (no RM for high quality boots already...) Besides, I guess I'll be the smallest version of Vader ever due to my small body size ;D (Might need to go for body building I guess ) Regards, Darth Raider

This costume can now be bought for around US$599 on ebay.
Even if you pay another US$200 for shipping charges (and customs duty) it's still cheaper then RM4k.
