I know... yours truly has been quiet lately. So here he comes back with a bang! Jack... what are you upto? Has Jack finally lost it? Guess not. Scallywag's always up scheming something... Or maybe it's just the loneliness... So what do you see from the key? The answer to what lies the great beyond? Oh well. I'll just make friends with Davy Jones then... But look out Jack. Davy Jones seems to be eyeing the key... Me and myself. I just can't get enough! Me and myself #2. Did I tell you that I just can't get enough of myself? Jack scheming again? Shark Boy... Here's the plan... And all the scheming was just to kill the MC! *sigh* And I thought it was about world domination... Ultimately, Jack has other plans... I guess seeing that Will and Elizabeth having their own baby, make Jack get one too? But oh my... am sure you could do better than this broad? I'm soooo disappointed! But we'll all share in your happiness then... Even if you can't blow balloons and you managed to con people to do it for you? Once a pirate, always a pirate. Scallywag attempting to steal a balloon for his kiddie? Even Davy Jones is impressed with the skills of his fan club! The End. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other shots.

haldir>>> it was a very immersible experience!! The finale of the first night was a concert with artist like Siti Nurhaliza, Hujan & Bunkface. So that had installed a soundsystem worthy & capable of that kind of sound quality... & to have THAT soundsystem play the POTC tracks while we wondered around as pirates getting involved with games... photo sessions & promoting the 'pirates lifestyle'... it was amazing Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me Oh btw did I mention the sunday finale was actually to watch the live 'cable tv' feed of POTC- Curse of the Black Pearl from Star Movies??? Woo hoo! but we were all zoinked out by then hehe E-wing>>> u must come!! This kind of event is rare but we hope for more in the future Especially those that are up our alley like Star Wars, LOTR, PiratesOTC, Star Trek... this was a Level 5 event!! Excellent, exclusive & immersive! VKKF1977>> congrats on the new lens... the results & steady hands are beautiful... composition & colour = gorgeous. The last 3 shots were brilliant!

Hey Vkkf! It was great that you could turn up. You ran off somewhere in the middle though, hehe. Thanks for taking and posting up the photos! Colours came out pretty interesting! It was a good portfolio event and a chance to get back on the High Seas. The unmasked supporting character group (Night, Rhyden and I as Elizabeth, Beckett, and Will) didn't stick to our schedules at all- we had enough fun amusing ourselves and the crowd, I daresay, to outdo ourselves by being out all day except during dinner break and once or twice when we started feeling a bit hungover. Would have gladly stayed through the marathon on Sunday night but some of us had work the next day. Thank you, Outpost Events, for getting us this gig!

Why not go to the conventions in your country first instead? They are a lot more and mostly geared towards western "cultures" compared to the little things we got on this side of the Earth. Now if I have the money, I'll go to events like DC ComicCon, DragonCon, GenCon etc with my money, costumes and armors in toll! Can also meet my Costuming Friends FINALLY after all these years we got to know each other. Always been my wish to attend DC ComicCon and DragonCon since I first started costuming 9 years ago since there was no SW Celebration back then. These 2 are THE EVENT for us SW/LOTR Costumers, even now. Try to get something like that going on this side? Well, Singapore is just starting on one this year and I think it'll take years before major companies Hasbro or Sideshow or Gentle Giant or Bandai etc make their BIG presence at the event so still eons away from reaching ComicCon's standards ( who then again had been around for decades). Then again, Cosplay is the big thing here, not so much Costuming, so seeing a quality SW or LOTR or HP or Predator etc Costumer outside the Circle is rare tho thankfully, they are finally popping up. ;D So anything special you see happening here in Malaysia ( or Singapore and other SE Asia countries) are all from the efforts of our members, volunteering ourselves to the event organizer to make it special, not only to us but most importantly to the public. It is afterall, " Just A Hobby" and "We do it for our own pleasure".

General Kenobi, Thank you. But credit must go to you 3 for patiently waiting for me... I wouldn't have been able to get the background if you'll didn't stand and wait for donkey minutes and still hold those poses for me... ha ha...
Oh I disappeared coz my time was up with you folks. Had to go hunting back for me family... he he. It was a pleasure meeting you folks again. Just keep me in the loop and I'll try and drop by when I'm free...
E-wing, I agree with Haldir. Am sure on your side of the continent, there are more events and definitely bigger ones than ours. I really cannot imagine if I was there with my camera and what would happen to me...
