More sad news for trek fans as Ricardo Montalban passes away. Star Trek movie star Ricardo Montalban dead at 88 Ricardo Montalban, the actor who showed range playing the villainous Khan character in "Star Trek," as well as the suave host of the "Fantasy Island" TV series, has died at the age of 88 in Los Angeles. The cause of death was said to be complications from old age, according to a UPI report. Montalban first took on the role of Khan Noonien Singh in the original "Star Trek" TV series in 1967 and reprised the role in the 1982 movie "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan." The actor's resume also included roles in movies as diverse as "Planet of the Apes," "Spy Kids" and the "Naked Gun" series. He also performed in Broadway musicals. Thanks for the info. Yes, I also remember watching him in one of the Family Guy episodes titled "McStroke" as the talking cow.
The world's gonna miss him...

The sad passing of an icon in the film industry...
I thoroughly enjoyed watching him as Mr. Roarke in 'Fantasy Island'. And believe it or not, I only just realised recently that he's the one who played 'Khan'.
