I just read the ROTS comic adaptation. Quite some scenes changed in the movie. There was one scene where Yoda specifically said that Padme had to appear pregnant at her funeral so people assumed the babies died with her and don't go looking for them... so speculation must have been strife amongst Naboo and Cosruscant tabloids on who was the father, secret marriage, etc...

Beras?? Eurgh. You guys want a knock on the head or what? ;D Seems Anakin met the Naberrie family during AOTC (cut scene). The family might have suspected Anakin to be the father for a second (since Padme doesn't seem to hang out with eligible guys much... ) speaking of that I have no idea exactly what went on in Padme's home... I know they all had a dinner and there was a packing scene... could anyone give me a hint if they know? Wonder if Ani got 'interrogated' by the 'Aunties' and 'Uncle' there... |

Hmm, just ran across a transcript of the deleted scene I was asking about. Seems Anakin wasn't the one 'interrogated' by the family... poor Padme got teased like heck instead!  Surely they suspected, mind trick or not! |
