Commander Cody Clone Commander Cody, also known as unit 2224, was a loyal clone trooper serving the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Cody was often under the command of General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and served with him and Anakin Skywalker during a nearly disastrous campaign on Cato Neimoidia. Cody developed a close and easygoing camaraderie with Kenobi, easily exchanging dry jokes with his Jedi General. This continued through to their mission to Utapau, to route out the entrenched Separatists forces commanded by General Grievous. Cody was ultimately subservient to the orders of the Republic, and when Order 66 was enacted -- branding Kenobi an enemy of the state -- Cody willingly carried out the command to open fire on his former friend. Unit 2224 was part of an advanced training program of clone commanders led by the ARC trooper identified as Alpha. Unlike standard Kaminoan educational protocols, this training regimen did not de-emphasize individuality and outside-the-manual thinking. As the Kaminoans adapted to this unorthodox methodology, they allowed their clones to self-apply names, dangling such signs of individuality as a prize for merit. Although self-naming had occurred on the field since the earliest days of the Clone Wars, the Kaminoans and the Republic did not officially recognize the practice; the cloners, especially, considered the behavior deviant. But thanks to the efforts of individualistic clones like Alpha, units such as 2224 got to retain their proper names. Cody's tour of duty included campaigns on Rendili, Koorivar, Cato Neimoidia, Maramere and Boz Pity. He led the 212th Attack Battalion, and was comfortable with leading large units and commanding small attack teams both. Often, Cody would employ a rocket pack, leading his elite units through individual aerial maneuvers. (extracted from star wars databank)

What strange names...
They might as well have named some Commander Fett, or Commander Jango, or Commander Boba...

Commander Fox note: Commander Fox is the one with predator-style mask. It is weird that he has to report to Commander Cody during Utapau battle scene.

credit: www.rebelscum.comNote Commander Neyo. Neyo wore different armor than that of most Clone Troopers- he modified his helmet slightly and wore red markings. Towards the end of the Clone Wars, he was assigned to the planet Saleucami, one of the major battles in the Outer Rim sieges. It was after the battle was over that he recieved the Order 66 from Chancellor Palpatine, while flying with Strass Allie on a Speeder Bike Patrol. He and a fellow trooper opened fire on the Jedi, killing her. (resource: www.clonewarz.com/database/characters/republic/neyo.htm)

Commander Gree Commander Gree, designation 1004, led the Elite Corps stationed on Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars. He served under General Yoda, commanding troops that employed specialized equipment for combat in the jungle environment. Gree himself wore camouflaged armor to better blend into the verdant surroundings. As indicative of his developing individuality, Commander 1004 took it upon himself to become an authority on obscure alien cultures. The automated clone education programs do provide each soldier with a base knowledge of many of the species that populate the Republic, but 1004 pursued knowledge beyond that with enough zeal that it drew the attention of the Kaminoan laboratory masters. Ordinarily, such divergence would be considered an aberration and be flushed from the system. But around the time that 1004's unique attributes were discovered, the Kaminoans instituted a special clone commander training program. The ARC trooper identified as Alpha began personally training commanders with an eye towards independence and individuality. Unit 1004 adopted the name Gree as a subtle nod to his intellectual pursuits. The Gree are an obscure alien species, little known in the Republic. His thinking was, should anyone comment on his name after introduction, Gree would know that he was dealing with someone who shared his passion for alien cultures. For his knowledge, he and his 41st Elite Corps were often stationed on worlds with indigenous species. Though a faithful commander who carried out Yoda's orders, Gree was ultimately loyal to the Republic. When Chancellor Palpatine enacted Order 66, Gree understood it was a worst-case scenario contingency -- the Jedi had betrayed the Republic, and were therefore dangeroCus enemies of the state. Gree attempted to open fire on Yoda from behind, taking out the Jedi Master before he had time to react. Gree poorly underestimated Yoda's perception. Before he could squeeze the trigger on his rifle, Yoda flipped up and backwards out of the field of fire, and decapitated the commander with one quick swipe of his lightsaber. Commander Bly Commander Bly is a clone trooper commander serving in the Grand Army of the Republic, Bly fights alongside Jedi General Aayla Secura during the Clone Wars. Commander Bly is one of the first-generation clone commanders grown by the Kaminoans. Bly was trained by ARC trooper Alpha-17, and shares many attributes with the Advanced Recon Commandos. He wears yellow-marked Kaminoan Phase II armor during the second year of the Clone Wars, but sports enhanced orange armor in the final days of the conflict. A scar running across Bly's left eye distinguishes him slightly from his clone brethren. Bly is paired with General Aayla Secura during a mission to recover a Separatist bio-weapon on Honoghr. The toxin, trihexalophine1138, devastated the planet, and its Noghri inhabitants stole the poison's vital Scientific Instrument Package, taking it back to a sacred Rakata temple. Bly and Aayla stormed the temple, aided by the unexpected arrival of Quinlan Vos. Bly was wary of Vos, who was considered an enemy of the Republic after apparently joining Count Dooku, though since Aayla trusted her former Master, Bly relented - despite wanting to kill Vos and be done with it. He mused that all armor has flaws - just as his own helmet was damaged during the battle. With Quinlan's help, Bly and Aayla recovered the Scientific Instrument Package, but Vos demanded Secura hand it over to him. A fight ensued, and Bly shot Quinlan in the shoulder before the rogue Jedi could kill Aayla. However, Aayla blocked Bly's next shots, allowing Quin to escape. Though they recovered the Scientific Instrument Package, Aayla felt the mission was a failure. Bly concluded that Aayla's connection to her former Master is the weakness in her armor.... and perhaps his own flaw is that he is unable to comprehend such a connection, and can but follow his orders. Following the Battle of Belderone, Commander Bly and General Secura were sent to capture President Shu Mai on Felucia. Bly and Aayla staged an assault on the Nigkoe detention facility to rescue Jedi Barriss Offee and Zonder, before moving on to their target. After taking out the facility's shield generator, Bly and the General reached Shu Mai's compound, only to find the President had already left Felucia days before. Secura's mission turned to defeating the droid army on Felucia, with backup from Commander Bly and his forces. However, changes were afoot on Coruscant, and Palpatine was plotting a takeover of the clone army. He transmitted Order 66 to his clone troopers, and Bly, grown to obey every command, carried out Palpatine's dire directive. Bly turned on Aayla Secura, shooting her in the back before his troops moved in to ensure the Jedi's fall. (taken from galactic-voyage.com/Dark%20Side-Characters-Commander%20Bly.htm)

Commander Odd Ball Commander Odd Ball is a clone trooper commander serving with the Republic Navy forces during the Clone Wars. A capable pilot and a fearless fighter, Odd Ball leads Clone Flight Squad Seven into combat against enemy forces. Clone Commander Odd Ball is one of thousands of faceless clone troopers created and grown on Kamino to fill the ranks of the Republic forces. Odd Ball himself is comfortable behind the controls of any vessel: attempting to blast through the blockade over Boz Pity, Odd Ball aided Anakin Skywalker in steering the mammoth Star Destroyer Intervention to a controlled crash-landing on the planet's surface. More often than not, Odd Ball flies an Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter alongside his fellow clone pilots against the droid forces of the Confederacy. The veteran pilots of Fighter Squad Seven, under the command of Odd Ball, join the battle over Coruscant in the final days of the Clone Wars. Odd Ball comes to the assistance of Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Jedi's attempt to breach the defenses surrounding the enemy Command Ship. Odd Ball's pilots diverted droid fighters from their flagship while the Jedi Interceptors landed within the cruiser's massive hangar bay. Though Odd Ball lost many pilots in the deadly dogfights above Coruscant, his efforts ensured the rescue, safety and security of the Supreme Chancellor. Commander Thire
Commander Thire was one of numerous ARC-trained Clone trooper commanders serving the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Commander of the Emperor's Homeworld Security Elite Clone Shocktroopers, Thire led the search for the body of the Jedi Yoda following his duel with the Emperor, and later for the remains of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's body on Mustafar.

Commander Thire is on Coruscant, not with any one specific Jedi.
