Do you think that would have changed the whole flow of the Star Wars series, what do you think would of happened? What are your thoughts?

We're talking hypothetically, ignoring the path of the movies and saying "what if" Simply, we are trying to think what would have happened in EP4-6 had he lived, ignoring the order that the movies were made.

I still think the outcome would be the same. Anakin was a member of the Jedi council, surrounded by Jedi Masters, and still they didn't realise his dark tendancies until its too late.
Qui Gon would be even more blind to Anakin's turning to the dark side because he believed so strongly that Anakin is the chosen one. That's why despite Yoda's objection, he insisted on training Anakin, and even made Obi Wan promised to train Anakin when he was dying.
Balance abiiiiisssss...... Yoda & Obiwan....Vader & Palpatine. Memang balance. Hard to tell coz we dont know why Anakin is there at the first place. Why he didnt have a father. Was he planted or planned by Palpatine from the beginning. As you can see he was very easily seduced. Only George knows

My take on it is that, I believe that if Qui Gon had not died.... anakin would not have taken to the dark side. Even though he was not on the Jedi council becoz of his 'rebel-Jedi' tendencies, he was a very fatherly mentor & not the task-master mentor as he is brilliantly potrayed by Liam Neeson in Episode I. Anakin never had a father... he grew up in a slave environment with his mom.... there is just certain qualities that child needs when he is growing up that only a 'father' or a father-figure can give.
I look at Qui Gon not being on the Jedi Council as an asset because he is not influence or pressured by the system of the republic as well as the politics. He was free from the system but was still a man of integrity. U can also see him as his best while facing Darth Maul, despite being defeaten by Maul. Qui Gon was not over zealous or flashy with his fighting moves. He does his best to remain poise despite facing such an shocking, powerful & aggressive foe like Darth Maul.
Obi wan is the cheeky (cocky), head strong Jedi that mellowed down w age.... he wasn't so fatherly. Just compare how Obi Wan speaks to Anakin (Ep II) & how Qui Gon speaks to Obi Wan (Ep I)
So in the absence (more like death) of a father figure.... Chancellor can now swoop in & tell Anakin what he likes to hear as well as becoz of who he is, Supreme Chancellor, Anakin is surely taken a liking to him. Watch how Palpatine manupilates Anakins emotions + decisions with his cunning questions in Ep III as he speaks 2 Anakin is a very ''fatherly' mentor way like how Qui Gon would.
Heheh some food for thought & ponder ..... and also the need to pull out Ep I, Ep II & Ep III??
I'm only getting started lah heheh
As the Circle now is complete in the Star Wars Saga, the responsibility of keeping the passion alive is in our hands.
