Apparently the new series will only run for ONE season. Oh... the ending is really frustrating If anyone needs to get a copy of the series, you can download off the internet with either WinMX or Azureus (or whatever torrent downloader you prefer). All in all, a good new "remake" (somewhat) of the original

No, sir. It would seem that more episodes have been ordered next season. Linky!Good to know. 3.2 million viewers do not seem that much higher than Enterprise 2.X million (which got cancelled). Maybe their production costs are also lower. Enterprise seemed quite lavish in their sets with budgets over USD$2 million per episode.

There's also the issue that Ent is on UPN, a terrestrial network, while BSG is on Sci-Fi a cable/satelite network. To put it in a Malaysian perspective: that's akin to saying that more people are watching a show on Astro (which reaches a limited viewership) than a show on TV3 that reaches, well, anyone with a TV.

Old is Gold.. Call me a sexist or chauvanist but making Starbuck a female turns me off.. I can't make myself see the new BSG..

I can't make myself see the new BSG.. yes, it's blasphamous to change Starbuck into a woman, but what's worse is that she's a he-woman, instead of someone who's feminine and yet fight with courage and dedication.
If the female Starbuck is like Amidala or Janeway then I think I can at least stomach it.

I've watched the entire mini series and have written a short review about it but can't seem to find the review anywhere now...
Have also acquired 8 episodes of the new series currently showing on Sci Fi channel but have yet to watch any...maybe I will during the CNY holidays... Yup, have downloaded the whole 13 episodes plus the BSG 2003 miniseries. Overall the series is very interesting but some of the episodes seem to be dragging to long with some dramas to the point that I almost lost interest in it. But it was able to pick up the story and ended with a great ending in ep12 and 13. The ending is a cliffhanger that will continue in the new season. A few screen caps from the 2003 miniseries:

AHA, A NEWBIE COMES FORTH!
I just started all this Battlestar Galactica (BSG) hoo-haa last week. Got a hold on the last few episodes (109-113)and it got me hooked. I know, I know I started at the wrong end but it's kinda fun considering the way we watch STARWARS !
Never knew STARBUCKS could produce such milky sexy "beverages".
DIE, HUMANS, DIE.

Never knew STARBUCKS could produce such milky sexy "beverages". Are you referring to STARBUCK the GIRL(eyebrow raised ), STARBUCK the GUY(eyebrow raised and very worried look ) or STARBUCK the coffee house(normal expression )?
