I've just dedicated myself to catching-up to the latest BSG episodes this week including the 2-parter "Home" followed by "Final Cut". Engrossing yes!!! More, more!
SPOILERS BELOW....
After literally having the cast scattered all over the for the first few episodes of the season, it's finally good to see some closure with everyone coming back together at the conclusion of "Home" and finally with some light at the end of the tunnel from real evidence that the mythical Earth exists, although the path still looks to be a long way.
Some truths or half-truths are also shed on what the Cylons are up to with trying to reproduce babies and looks like their plan could be to repopulate the colonial planets with 'human' Cylons. Still, after seeing nukes set off in the series premiere, the cities seem remarkably intact and even too much like our earth of today with 4WD vehicles and jeeps.
Baltar finally gets himself a brain scan and finds no Cylon chip. So, he's nuts? Yet the Cylons still seem to be communicating very reliable information to him, with the human-Cylon baby and so forth.
Eventhough things seemed to have settled down in "Final Cut", the ending throws a real twister into the plot with yet another human Cylon revealed and seeming to have 'helped' humanity stay together with a very favourable media piece. And it's good to see Lucy Lawless of Xena fame back on-screen, although not quite recognisable at first with the blonde hair.
Say what you all?
More, more, more!!! ;D
