You have to mod your Xbox to the latest version to play those games I think.

I was thinking of that, but that's quite a problem now that the vendors don't sell xbox anymore, I don't know if they still do fixing. And if they do I worry about losing all my save games because so far it works okay with my other games whether original or not. The easiest I think is just buy xbox 360.............. maybe later.

Buying a 360 would render all your existing XBox games (if they are the "copy" version, that is) useless. I would suggest scouting around Sg. Wang/BB for a games vendor that sells a spare Xbox drive. I had mine changed to a Samsung drive and now the bugger can read any disc.

If I have time will check out sg wang/BB. Its true that xbox 360 only works on original dics, but for new upcoming games I may still have to either buy 360 or a new computer or maybe both.

Hey guys,
I just went to check out a video game shop today and am happy to find that modified xbox 360 can actually play 'copy' games. ;D But the 360 console is still quite pricey for now.

DO NOT GET XBOX 360 FIRST !!!! My advise. I have been a gamer since 5 during the ATARI age and has been follwing their progress ever since. Recently, Microsoft are beating around the bushes with their release of the console. Whatever SOny is upgrading, they counter and forget about consumer. If there is a tilte you like most on a console, then thats your answer. If both console releasing the same title...then you got to think further ahead. Xbox is NO MORE. And the 360 just released ELITE...and rumors saying there will be an xbox 360 with blueray built in....who knows. But I still felt that Xbox are more expensive. They provide wireless controls indeed. But you need to use batteries for it. No recharge is included. Got to add in RM 80 for the recharger cable and rechargeble battery. No motion sensor game play and no wireless connection. To play HDDVD , you need to add in RM 699. While PS3 is built in with blueray. Although games are slow in PS3 due to the BLueray coding...but it really does looks far more better than 360 at the end. Playing online makes your game worth more and we need to subcribe to xbox 360 LIVE for additional RM 200 a year. Do the calculation my friend. It cost more than the PS3.

Watching the blueray movies on PS3 really gives you the satisfaction ( with HD LCD of course ) It makes movie look so much better and it is an experience everyone should venture into. The Future is blueray !!! And it will defitnately be a good choice. Now, if PS3 games are not as short as xbox games or more special features for PS3 games should be better other than that, the only expensive part of PS3 is their game price.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I quite agree with you. I think having to pay to play online its too much, that's why I didn't play any online games. I am still waiting for the price to drop before I make any purchase decision. It's still too early to tell, I wish to see more games comming out and whether which console gets any good exclusive games that I like.
