Heh, a funky mackintosh with a corduroy-material-high-collar, a set of funky shirt, tie, pants & shoes (surprisingly 80-ish looking), print out an ID with my pic on it, plus a borrowed prop from Kal, and I can go as a Bladerunner ;D

Since we are talking about 80's Nostalgia here, it shouldn't be confined to just cartoons but Popular Movies that defined the 1980's (1980 to 1989) ....Back To The Future comes to mind ;D
...and I see the ever popular THUNDERCATS not mentioned in your list.

...and complete your 1980's Nostalgia with the appearance of these 4 different versions of a certain well known BLACK costumed Japanese Tokusatsu Hero :
....BAJA HITAM should ring a bell to some of us here! ;D

true that 80s also include the live actions. but would like to draw the line to 80s shows that were shown in US. if its anime, it would be anime dubbed in english like robotech, saber rider, voltron etc. mostly memorable things that u use to watch on the tele in the 80s during sat & sun morning. to get an idea, u can go to www.retrojunk.com
