Interesting bloke... I am not the least bit irritated at him because frankly I was too busy LAUGHING at him.  I haven't run through most of his (other) tirade in the website but my first impression is the man loves attention. What a drama queen...  |

he really tore SW:ROTS apart...I was quite amused as well by his tunnel-vision point of view...he he he 
I hope he's doing all this with a pinch of salt, otherwise he's got some serious issues going on in his brain...

*laughs* Perhaps he did... but he loves to show the finger to anyone who disagree with him... and maybe even those who agree with him! At least he is a relative breath of fresh air... a Simon Cowell (at his very worst) of movies and cultures.

Nobody knows how to murder a film more than the very fans if it. Nothing wrecks destruction like a 'traitor' can! I'm sure if one of you guys wrote a deliberately cruel critique of SW or LOTR, it would traumatise a lot of people.  |

Actually, I have a LOT of gripe with SW, and with GL...But SW it's like a brother to me, like a favourite nephew...you now how no matter how your brother or your favourite nephew annoy you or disappoints you from time to time, you still love them unconditionally?
But sometimes you DO want to smack them on the head...
Here's something I wrote about GL in another forum regarding the absence of Asian males with a significant on-screen presence in any of the SW movies:

There's this one Ep3 Senator who's in league with Padme for the Petition of the Two Thousand... Fang Zar, i think. He looks fairly like a Chinese sage to me. Oh, and of course we have Bai Ling, another Asian SW person... both cut out from the theatrical.  |

I don't know why Fang Zar's scene was dumped, but for Bai Ling it was rumoured to be her appearance in Playboy...
I wonder what will happen if Natalie Portman appear in Playboy over the next year or two...will GL cut out all her scenes in EP1, 2 & 3 for the Prequel DVD boxset?  [/b] |
