I played KOTOR until my xbox froze and i couldn't contine. never finished beacuse of the damaged disc.
Should have purchased an original ;D
Sorry to hear that, I experience that too.
I didn't buy original game as well, some times it doesn't reload, but if you manage to save the game you should be able continue to play, try to save often. I did that and the it sometimes reload slower than normal but can play, the moment you can start playing you should save the game first, then continue to do the same everytime, then it should work. One important thing is that you must fix the date and time evertime before you insert the disc, if you have the habit of unpluging the xbox power after use, otherwise it will not be able to save. If you leave the power on all the time then no need.
I was told it could be because that the mod(modified) chip on your xbox needs replace or either the game disc is no good. The mod chip allows you to play non original disc on your xbox.
Otherwise you should get the disc replace, the shop I buy from do replace for me if it can't play at no cost. You should try to change the dics first if it still can't work then only bring the xbox for check up.
The old One utama got some really good shops selling those disc at the cinema level. They have the service to replace mod chip if you need. You can check it out.
At one time I played the newer episod III revenge of the sith game it got freezed, I got so fed up I went and bought the original instead. ;D
