Wah JadenLee,
Didn't know that you are an OLD SCHOOL Kamen Rider fan too!! All this while I thought were ONLY hooked to STAR WARS and Xbox. I immediately recognized the picture you've posted. It is none other than Kamen Rider No. 1 and Kamen Rider No. 2 in their costumes.
OK let's see whether these images that I've posted will hearken those childhood memories that lies buried in your subconscious mind..
The High Resolution screen cap above is our heroes in their ORIGINAL costumes. It is still Kamen Rider No. 1 (Left) and Kamen Rider No. 2 (Right) sporting GREEN gloves and boots. This scene is from the Classic 1972 Movie "KAMEN RIDER vs. SHOCKER" where our 2 Rider heroes are fighting against the new Shocker Kajin - Zanjio. Here are some more pictures from this 32 minute movie.
Zanjio - Shocker's latest fire breathing Kaijin introduced in this movie
Kamen Rider Nos. 1 and 2 (Old costumes) vs. Zanjio
The victorious Kamen Rider heroes who DEFEATED Shocker
I'm sure that you will also remember Kamen Rider No. 1 (New costume) on horseback too :
from another action packed scene in the follow up movie also in 1972 titled "KAMEN RIDER vs. HELL AMBASSADOR"?
or how about this picture of the Triple Rider brothers : Kamen Rider No. 1, Kamen Rider V3 and Kamen Rider No. 2
and these 3 handsome Japanese actors in the prime of their youth in 1973 : From Left to right : Kamen Rider No. 1 / Takeshi Hongo (Hiroshi Fujioka), Kamen Rider V3 / Shiro Kazami (Hiroshi Miyauchi) and Kamen Rider 2 / Hayato Ichimonji (Takeshi Sasaki)
or this group picture of the first 5 Classic Kamen Riders - Kamen Rider No.1, Kamen Rider V3, Kamen Rider X, Kamen Rider No. 2 and Rider Man with the 6th Kamen Rider Amazon (superimposed) on the foreground.
and finally this AWESOME group picture of the 7 Kamen Rider brothers and their Rider Machines from the climatic battle scene from the Classic 1976 TV Special "Kamen Rider All Back Again! 7 Riders"

Well Sith overlord, It was a long ago.... before star wars, I used to collect comic book and megazines, of kamen rider & other japanese sci fi/fantasy cartoons(gundam, valkyrie etc) but I've given away all of it, now I can't quite remember most of it. But I remember those days Kamen rider was really cool. In fact I think Japanese sci fi movies/ comics stories /drawings are very creative except that they lack behind US in technology to bring it alive.(like in godzilla) After star wars, I became a big star wars fan & all star wars/sci fi video game be it xbox/pc. ;D

I used to play with action figures of Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Giant Robot etc etc when I was a kid. I would tie them to a parachute made from a piece of cloth, throw them in the air and watch them float down.
Those days action figures were to be played with, not for keeping in mint condition in a box or on a shelf ;D
Eventually they get damaged and were all discarded by my mom when I went overseas to study.
These toys were all from japan, and made of thick vinyl. I wonder how much all my toys would be worth today if I had kept them and they're in good condition.

Wow. And I only touched the surface. Anyway, when I was very very young, I did remember seeing their manga. It was black and white and most of the time, it was black. Then, decades later, it occurred to me that these were blood. Yeah, it was a very gory book.
Too bad I can't find them anymore

These guys were from my Standard 3 & 4 days, where the tokusatku series would be shown at about 4pm and I'm still in school. I only managed to catch one or two episodes when I got sick and stayed at home. Cool stuff. I only remember the RX dude. I still wonder why they were called "Baja Hitam" (Black Fertilizer). Don't they have a nicer name to call them?
