Mid to end November is ok for me... Noted will mark this down in the planning diary. Looks like November will be the tentative D-Day then, if you don't mind the rush after the JB IOI Mall trip scheduled for October 2005.

*Ahem*, just got notified. Our good Senator will be occupied with duties this November and will therefore be unable to make it during that month... So back to rush month December, denizens of Coruscant?? Two full days at the MOST... we only need two days....

2 days is definitely not enough for me! Since they don't allow photography, I intend to stare at and closely scrutinise every single item for at least 2 hours so that it is permanently imprinted in my brain! ;D

Hi everyone, I've just come from a meeting with Singapore Science Centre, and I'll tell you this..... two days are definitely NOT enough to see everything. I've seen the list of the exhibits coming, and man oh man , it is going to be incredible ! Plus, I've told them about the MySci Fi Star Wars Costumed Contingent , so they know you're coming . ;D In fact, we are planning with Singapore Science Centre a special Star Wars Costumer's Day , with special privileges to all who come in costume, so look out for more information about that. More details as they are finalised. In the meantime, check out www.starwars.sg for details on upcoming contests where you stand to win free tickets to the Art of Star Wars Exhibition ! daniel

So how was their (SCC) response when you told them that the MySciFiFan STAR WARS Costumed Contingent will be coming over?
Also how many days, then do you advise us to spend and admire these COOL STAR WARS exhibits. As you are aware not many can stay longer for 2 days. Also is December or November the better month to come over, your views please, if you don't mind.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the updates. So how was their (SCC) response when you told them that the MySciFiFan STAR WARS Costumed Contingent will be coming over? They were extremely pleased to hear that . That's when we discussed the possibility of a Star Wars Costumer's Day , with the possibility of privileges for all those in costume. Nothing is set in stone yet , but it's still early in the planning stage. I'll see what I can arrange for you guys . Will keep you posted.
I guess you are right, Peter . It's easier for us in Singapore because we can go back week after week if we wanted to . It's definitely going to be very crowded in November and December. From past experiences , January will be the quiet month where you don't have to jostle with huge crowds to see the exhibits. What I am afraid is that the crowds will be so huge that you can hardly get near the exhibits , but I guess if you are prepared to stay from opening time to closing time , and wait your turn patiently, 2 days should be more than enough . We also hope to plan for some fringe fan activities OUTSIDE the Science Centre itself on certain weekends, so it may be a very full program on those days . More news as we get them !

Remember, the exhibition area will be 2000 square metres, compared to LOTR which only covered 1000 square metres, plus there is an additional 1000 square metres dedicated to a theatre screening a documentary on the films on a huge screen. It's going to be amazing !

I definitely can't make it in January so it'll have to be mid-late November or mid-late december...
Maybe those of us from outside S'pore can camp inside the exhibition area and spent the night with the exibits to really get to know them...saves on hotel bills too...he he he ;D
