Milord, I would say that that is a mock-up of an F-14 Tomcat... If I remember correctly, Starscream took the form of an F-15 Eagle (in Transformers G1)... It was nice to see him as an F-22 Raptor in the new movie ;D Excellent observation RedRoyalGuard, apparently they did NOT have an F-22 Raptor model - StarScream's battle mode in the ongoing TRANSFORMERS movie. So they made do with this F-14 Tomcat laa.. ;D

Gee, I thought it's a "life size" Yoda? ... why it's so small like palm size? The actual movie one is much bigger ... see above pic. "Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmmm?" Oh yes, size matters. (see ads fr everywhere ;D ) Anyway, isn't this supposed to be a "life size" Yoda used in the production, and that's why it's travelling around the globe?

Doc, I've met the travelling Yoda in person (I'm sure there's a pic of him with me and Peter) and he sure as hell ain't "life-sized"... more "pint-sized" to me...

This is what Spock would have said:
"It is illogical, captain, both economically and logistically, to ship a life size Yoda around the world, when a pint-size one would suffice for the intended purpose"
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D What exactly is the purpose of this world tour? What so special abt this palm-size Yoda? If shipping cost is the main reason, why not use a even-smaller Yoda action figure?

What exactly is the purpose of this world tour? What so special abt this palm-size Yoda? Dr EMH, the clarifications that you seek in your questions have been answered by Miana Kenobi's friend Master--Kenobi in first post in : The Official Travels With Yoda Thread back on 17 June 2005.
Also this extract from the Official website www.travelswithyoda.com would shed some light on the HISTORY behind what prompted this palm/pint sized Yoda to undertake his current World Tour :
Yoda was once a working Interactive Yoda toy. He met his death while watching the movie Velvet Goldmine when a few scenes involving an unclothed Ewan McGregor caused Yoda to short circuit and fry himself.
For fun, Kim Leigh of Santa Cruz, CA took "Dead Yoda" to Disneyland with her and got pictures of him around the park. She got the idea that it would be funny if she sent Yoda to England to try to get a picture of him with Ewan McGregor himself. She tossed the idea out to her friends and Rachel Williams stepped up to help plan the tour. After several months of contacting over 60 FanForce chapters that covered 5 continents, the tour was set and ready to begin. More FanForce chapters were added and as of January 1, 2006, Yoda was set to visit 69 different FanForce chapters in 15 different countries on 5 different continents.
Yoda spent his last week preparing for the tour in sunny San Diego, California with Rachel. He went back to Disneyland, then enjoyed a week of Comic-Con International where he was introduced to Star Wars celebrities such as Peter Mayhew, Ray Park, Amy Allen, Daniel Logan, Billy Dee Williams, Matthew Wood, and Michonne Bourriague. He then got packed away in his "travel pod" and hopped a plane to London, England.
