Year-End gathering "A New Hope for the New Year"

Organised by our Star Wars friends from Singapore's www.starwars.sg forums, this Year End Event aptly titled, "A New Hope for the New Year" marks the end of 2006 and usher in the New Year 2007 - which is destined to be a huge year for Star Wars Fans - the 30th Anniversary of the first Star Wars movie "A New Hope", which hit the Silver Screen back on 25 MAY 1977.

The programme of this Year End Gathering, that will be held in SINGAPORE, will include mass-participation games and quiz, a costuming contest for the kids, and of course... a chance to get to know each other better during the buffet dinner. Details are as follows,

Good News! We will be conducting Lucky Draws during the gathering.

There will be an Early Bird Draw at 6.45pm and a Finale Lucky Draw to end off the evening. **Winner must be present to collect prize when name is drawn, otherwise another winner will be drawn.

1. Is the food Halal?
Yes.

2. Is there alcohol at the event?
No.

3. How to get there by public transport - in SINGAPORE?
Nearest MRT Station is Bedok MRT. Bus Services serving the area will be updated here soon.

4. Do we need to come in costumes?
No need to. But you are certainly most welcome to dress up if you wish. We will be having a costuming contest for the kids though, so those of you bringing your younglings may want to consider having them turn up as mini-clones, Jedi, ...etc
