Watched it yesterday. Loved it! Maybe it's to early to say that everything PJ touches turn to gold...but PJ's rendition of King Kong is absolutely brilliant. It had thrills, romance, tear inducing moments (ehem...hate to admit it but my eyes got a tad watery during the last 30minutes of the flick) and the one thing I didn't expect was humor. Especially humor coming out of Kong. Some people were worried about the T-rex vs King Kong scene. Citing that it'd be the bad B-movie sequel/s that was Godzilla vs King Kong. But I had faith he'd make it work. It was worth every sen and every second of my 3hrs. Now what I'll do now is play the King Kong game to see the alternate ending where Kong and Ann gets married and have kids. The ending that should have been the movie.

Loneranger84: Ugh. Imagine kids who can't sit still, concerned hypocritical moms who brought their kids (but too cheap to buy a ticket for them) to watch and covered their eyes fearfully when violents scenes came on. HYPOCRITES I tell ya. Not to mention screaming toddlers, crying babies, irrate kids yelling (prolly past their bed times). Grrr. Me no want iMax. Me want GOLD CLASS! in this case we only can blame the lousy parent, try go late night show to avoid kids, hehee

Kids would be going back to school soon... hopefully sanity will be restored soon?? Count me in for the viewing. Either type of showing is good for me. i just need to submerge my senses with all the bugsies and toothy dinos...

Fishyahoo tells me all okay at Imax so we can go ahead with our plan.
If u thing i looks like Jack Black, count me in costume! Roger, roger dark_ani, after 1st it will be.
Yeah, was thinking the 1st but those little younglings still not back in school & believe me, my fren went for midnite show... & still parents bring their children which turn the cinema into a playground with kids running up the stairs & slept on the floor. Was thinking 8th since it's Sunday & kids have to go to school the next day.

The best alternative for me to watch Peter Jackson's latest epic will be GSC-1 Utama. ;D
