Do I look like HIM or what??? Yeah after you have got your haircut boy. Remember this is Harry in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" pic - yes I watched the movie already. ;D
You're still sporting Harry's look from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", get a haircut and you've got it! ;D*Gasp* an Uncanny resemblence to Mad-Eye Moody, even more so when you dye your "hair" to darker blonde shade.

Thanks, guys... for the kind comments and to VKKF for taking the lovely pictures. I am especially fond of the one with those two 'brats' stealing my drink! The Ball was a blast for us... and it is hysterical to see VKKF and Fishyahoo with the Muggle signs on them. I think I saw the latter's sign hanging rather prominently in Outpost when I dropped by recently. Do drop by the cafe and have a look yourself.

Wow, that's GREAT camerawork, Vkkf! I didn't know I looked like that. Though in one of the shots of my hood everyone can clearly see that I was still sewing it this morning (the folds aren't ironed down!!)... Oops... ;D It's pretty darned amazing how you captured just the right moments during the flurry of activites- especially when we cast " Picture Perfectus" on the Ntv7 people! We all know it takes much more than just a good camera to do that. Someone is picky about hair eh, Mr. OverLord sirrah? I would be a little careful about getting the OotP haircut since short hair, small eyes and oversized glasses would make me look more like insect than Potter, would it not...

Hmmm.... interesting thoughts indeed. What makes you think that the shorter hairdo would make you "look more like an insect than Potter"? ;D
If I recall clearly, the shorter haircut which you sported around mid August 2005, would have brought you closer to Daniel Radcliffe's shorter hair style in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Heh. Did I just mention it? I can't be running around getting haircuts all the time just to appear 'accurate'. I happen to not be in costume for the bulk of my life. Like Haldir mentioned on the Harry Potter costume thread, any more muggles want to make the transition into witch or wizard? I keep seeing the same people from our side. Zero books and two more movies to go. Time's running out... ;D

I have to agree with Dark_Ani on this. There are times when you just have to be practical and not shave off all your hair, deliberately mutilate your face or go to the Tower of London to be racked by one of their dungeon equipments just to get the right height and size for the character. Or god forbid endure cosmetic surgery just because you aren't as pretty or handsome or while you are at it the same ethnic or sex as the original actor.
Most of us do have a life to carry on besides costuming. Wearing a wig or a cap to hide yourself for the next two months until you grow things out may not always be an option. What seemed like a very good idea for costuming that time, may be something you would regret for months to come until you are 'normal' again.
I would not permanently dye my hair or try out a mohican cut, going bald, tattoo my face or file my teeth for any reason because there will be consequences to it that I would have to pay in the near future - like employment and other small tedious details. You know, just the usual stuff. There is a definate limit to my fanaticism. When I am in the entertainment business (Hah! Yeah right!) on a more permanent basis, then we can talk about more interesting things I can do to myself in name of fun.
Others may do as they please... it is their life and their choice after all. C'est la vie.
