Well, shall we try next weekend? Say 8/9 Sept? Any ideas to which costumes shall we try first? ;D What about locations? After 13th Sept we can try indoors in front of a "bluescreen" for an experimental comics page... What say you?

Part 1 of the Senang Beringin pics... more coming soon! Costume facts: IntegritiHis costume was inspired by the Jedi in that he is supposed to be fighting for truth and justice. I decided to give him earth tones in accordance to his "down-to-earth" character. Besides, he was originally conceived as a "GreenPeace"-like protester. His inner garment was modified from a kurta suit (hehehe... I might use this for Raya!). The tabards were PVC, glued together and given red highlights, red being the colour of a fighter. For this costume, I also tried "soft"armour for the first time - his bracers and greaves (even the shield) are covered in PVC. The shield is made from cardboard stiffened with 1/2" PVC tubes and held together with paper tape (on the back). The boots are my old riding boots, which I sent for repairs and a new polish! AutoritiHe didn't really turn out the way I wanted him to, particularly the chest armour. I decided to give him a black jumpsuit and modified the belt instead. The belt is from my RG costume, which I modified by adding tassets. I also gave him pauldrons that were slightly different from the designs. I guess time was a limiting factor in getting the costume to look as it is supposed to. Other than that, I replaced his arm-mounted weapon with a gun, which was much easier to manipulate. *note to self: not everyone knows how to operate an arm-mounted weapon! MemoriI'm satisfied with this one. Came out just the wayI wanted it to... Just several layers of cloth of different textures piled on top of each other, and then a plastic chain painted chrome around his neck and wrists. The chain was connected with "O" rings. IdentitiAnother design that didn't turn out the way it should. This time, the actor was the limiting factor. She claimed that she couldn't dance properly in the attire that I had designed, and improvised the costume... Her costume consisted of a wrap-around top, a long skirt, a tasseled belt and a shawl. Her forearms and shins were supposed to be armoured and she's supposed to have a bejeweled headgear. Well... there u have it!
