Yes I do!
Haven't seen it since I was young but recall the starfighter action was really awesome (for that time).

I got a tape of it (VHS-to-VHS rip) which I got from Speedy Video 3 years or so ago. Terrific "Wish I Was In His Shoes" movie. C'mon, who didn't fantasize being chosen to pilot a Gunstar as Alex Rogan did.
On a negative note: the CGI FX were rendered adequately, like Tron, there's no motion blurring which made the FX a tad unrealistic.

Hey,you're talking one of the pioneers of CGI in movies,I bet they didn't even know what motion blurring was. " Go back to sleep Lewis or I'm telling Mom about your Playboys"

i know the theme song was pretty cool too... gosh, you guys are making me visit back those ol' school days... now it brings back the flood of memories of Buck Rogers, BSG, Space Camp, Tron, Flash Gordon...
Mayb we should have screening of all these old classics eh?

SPACE CAMP! OMG SPACE CAMP RAWKED!...sorry about the all caps there, but it's hard to maintain my composure about that movie. That one just so so 80's and so so so good :-)

I have the song from The Last Starfighter. It was nice!
BTW, the CGI that was made for the movie was done using the Cray Supercomputer!
A multi billion dollars supercomputer in those days!
