At first i found this choice is rather weird but if think again it's a superb casting choice, both Stark & Downey Jr. have a history of addiction. I just love the Christian Bale kind of hero not Ben Affleck/Brandon Routh type of 'jambu' face but useless. Let the goatee grow Downy! ;D

I can imagine Downey playing as Stark, but as a "hero"? But then again, he'll be wearing a masked, so... But he's good when it comes to emotions tho...

robert downey jr is a solid choice. unconventional for sure, but it's a good move to cast an actor rather than a star. this dude is really versatile. he can do serious drama (chaplin), and comedy (kiss kiss bang bang).
and with jon favreau at the helm, i'd say this film is in good hands.
btw, did u guys know that louis leterrier who directed jet li's unleashed will be directing a new hulk movie, titled "the incredible hulk". another interesting choice...

And Terrence Howard will be Jim Rhodes. Cool! I hear they're trying to get Iron Man and the Hulk movies out quickly, then followed by Cap and Thor so that they can lead into a Ultimate Avengers movie. That'll be quite awesome. Apparently they new Hulk movie will be more Hulk Smash! than Hulk Emote! Plus a proper villain and not his dad and a couple of mutated mutts. Abomination, perhaps? Hi Tyler  |

So what do you'll think of this movie folks? As for me, Pepper Potts is sooooo wasted. Feel that her character could have been given more bite (or is she like that???). Same goes for Rhodey as well. But RDJ for Tony/IM, that's a good choice. I like his swagger. And his failability. All in all not bad. Even tho I had bad seating (3rd row from screen - hey, my friend buy. Not me!!!), time flew by once it started...  |
