who's seen the movie yet? i did today. i bet no one can guess who voiced Aslan. Liam Neeson! I too finally saw it yesterday... after it being our here in MY for sooooo long. surprisingly, the cinema was still 1/2 full with only 3 shows running AND the ONLY cinema in the whole of MY to have it!!! amazing!

i was like "i know that voice" to my dad. he took me and my youngest sister to see it. he said it was JEJ, but Jones has a deeper voice; maybe a tenor or beritone. then we checked the credits, and it was Liam. we had a couple with a young child and he talked loud enough for me to hear, off and on through half the movie.

well, that's good. you should have told them quietly to be quiet, if they kept it up, get an usher.

ah well... wasn't really in the mood and since someone was trying to cool me down, didn't feel like blowing up there and then...
overall, the movie was good. little slow at 1st, performances was good... and white witch... really REALLY evil!!! her glare/stare was really chillingly "cold"!

We don't really see much ushers around here unless it is just before the movie starts and they (the better ones at least) guide you to your seats... and them opening the exit door some 10 mins before the show ends. Then they dissappear... kind of hard to hunt them down, complain and drag them to talk to the rude patron. So, it is mostly squirm in your own seat, getting more and more frustrated until you either swallow your bile and walk out fuming after the movie or yell really loudly when snide comments fail. Oh yeah... I am in love with Tilda too. She is brilliant. And I am rather partial to the little girl who plays Lucy. Cute frisky thing.

*laughs* Haven't you noticed, VKKF, that I do like diverting attention sometimes? If I say Lucy... at least there would be a lesser spotlight on the major whinny little prat, Edmund. which I do have certain fondness for, for very very very obvious reasons. I would be hard pressed to say which of them really really wowed me with their performance - they can be fairly inconsistent - one moment I would go... Hah! That is spot on for Peter and the other I would go... erm, yeah... whatever, next! Then I have to knock myself on the head for holding them against accomplished veteran actors... Definately, performance-wise, I will vote happily for Tilda. *nods* Unfortunately due to how the books were written, the girls didn't really get much action... so, no Legolas wanna-be sending 10 arrows in the air at the same time. *makes face*
