New thread here for sci-fi character collectibles outside Star Wars... Lemme start with Mulder & Scully from The X-files by Sideshow: 12in Sideshow figures are new to me so handling these were a learning experience. My 2 sen of comments: 1. Mulder & Scully likeness not bad if you don't look too closely... roughly 1m away is good distance. 2. Good articulation but very loose leg joints, hence they can't stand unsupported without the waist clamp. Sorta ok since the clamp can be hidden under the jacket. 3. Both come with common accessories: revolver, mobile phone, flashlight and FBI tag. Unique to Mulder: alien pick and UFO poster. Unique to Scully: X-Files folder with paranormal case pics. UPDATE 29 APRILThread renamed to X-Files collectibles since no one else has posted any other sci-fi collectibles here...

More X-Files... here's Scully with her men... Fox Mulder and John Doggett... Comments on Doggett: 1. Stands unsupported. 2. Comes with firepower of a sub-machine gun... but lacks holster for revolver... 3. Head seems tad big for lanky body 4. Nice headgear

how do you characterise sci-fi characters?
does alien and predator characters count?
if so, i am sure many of us has got some Mcfarlane Predators and Aliens. Their attention to details and articulations are astounding. It's like having a "poseable" statue.
There were few palisades micro busts sale at my place recently. I bit the bullet an got myself warrior alien micro bust (limited to 1000 pieces).

Wah! Frank Black is in the collection... i love millenium coz it's much more darker & more complicated compared to the-X-Files but the series went no where halfway. Still remember the comel daughter of his?
Memorable team in X-Files should be The Lone Gunmen. They're spin off series can tahan one season but they were good.

Ah, no Lone Gunman characters available yet... Didn't watch much of Millenium so remember virtually nothing... did the series end with complete ending?

I dont know to call it a complete ending coz compared to X-Files, Millenium dont have any closure, more of an uncertainties that what future of mankind. Frank left FBI & leaving Washington with his daughter Jordan on the final epidode. The real closure is somehow in X-Files episode called 'Millenium'.
