Anyone remember this toy? I remember it coming in two versions - blue (Max) and red (Miriya). It was the coolest and best-loved toy I had back then! My love for the transforming f-14 inspired valkyrie actually overshadows my Transformer toys. Too bad I lost it... Does anyone know where I can find one or is someone willing to sell it to me? Now as a grown up, I promise I'll take real good care of it Text from the German eBay site:- This is a MIB Max Sterling Super Deformed VF-1J released by Matchbox in the 1980's and made by Bandai. It is basically a little version of their large 1:55 Max Sterling Super VF-1J. It was released in Japan as part of the "Macross Joke Machine" line. It's very high quality, much better than Toynami's recent attempts at an SD valkyrie. It transforms just like the 1:55 toy!! The pictures:- * Drool *

One day if I were ever to suddenly amass a fortune from some long-lost uncle that I didn't know of, I'm gonna get a loooooooooooot of Macross/Robotech/Mospeada action figures, right down to the brown cannon fodder ones.

Heck! I also have the same Valkyrie as Plo's and Jaden's. But somehow, I think I lost it already. I remmebered mine had a slightly "about to break off" rear right tail fin because I kept on transforming it. Heh
