You blokes wouldn't believe what I came across as I was cleaning my drawers out! Will they ever go on sale? I doubt it! Too sentimental! hahahahaha... and yes, it just tells how old you are!!! The below is a booklet of ... Takara toys, waaaaaay back when only God knows what my parents bought for me! It's a catalog... and inside is... Then there are these rectangular pieces of paper. Behind it is actually the multiplication table, but that's not what you're interested in ... or any sane person...!!! Actually had quite of few of those stuff... interesting! Very interesting indeed, wouldn't you say? ;D

So that's what they call the Classic Gen 1 TRANSFORMERS in Japan back in the 1980's.

The Transformer picture reminds me of my sad story. Several years back i came across this old shop selling an 80's Fotress Maximus for SGD160 ( YES SGD160 parAee!!). So thinking that no one was going to buy it , i blabbered it out to a friend telling him how much this figure was worth in the collectors market. SO, as you've guess it.. when i returned to the shop..the figure was already sold. Few month later, this friend of mine starts telling me that he had started collecting transformer figures..WHAT THEE?!!... ( No wookies were hurt during the making of this story )

Well, I also regreat not getting Fortress Maximus when it was sold here in Singapore too as towards the 1990s, it was going for "very cheap" at Robinson or John Little during one of its sale. Can't remember how much actually but I remember it's CHEAP compared to its original price ( will have to dig out that Ads if I still have it). Dun care that someone told me in 2000 that it worth not much and "useless" as Fortress Maximus bring back fond memories for me as I used to read the original Marvel Transformer Comics and Fortress Maximus was one of the main characters. And back in 1992, Pretenders are going for SGD9.90-SGD14.90 at the Oriental Emporium which I go pass at least every weekend when coming back from the Library. Should had bought more back then instead of those Barbie Furnitures or Clothing. Over a decade later, the only thing valuable is G1 Transformer, not Barbie Dolls Furnitures.

Few month later, this friend of mine starts telling me that he had started collecting transformer figures..WHAT THEE?!!... If you had no intention of buying it, what's wrong with your friend buying it? If you intend to buy it then why not buy it on the spot instead of telling others about it?
