Yours humbly uses a Tungsten E I used to have a Psion Revo Plus but it has very limited functions, and very difficult to download or upload things from PC due to the difference in OS.
Since you're a veteran in PDA/PPC, can you give me a bit of advise? I've been meaning to get one of those PDA phones, but don't know how reliable they are. I keep hearing things like "This model have software problem", "That model always hang/crash", "This one can not do what that one can".
All I want is something that I can 1) Make and receive call, preferable with option to use 2 or 3 sim cards at the same time(without switching it off to change sim cards) 2) Uses Windows or IBM compatible OS 3) Have a scheduler that allows me to block, cut and paste notes & appointments instead of typing every appointment from scratch 4) Allow me to connect to the net either by wifi hotspot or plug into a LAN/Streamyx modem 5) With USB port so I can download/upload from my PC 6) Don't cost an arm and a leg
I've been doing some reserach based on the limited knowledge I have with PDA/PPC(hate to read the technical specifications because I can't make heads or tail of all the jargon) and the Sony Erricson P900 seem to be quite nice. Is it a stable and depandable unit? Does it use Windows compatible OS?
Please give me some suggestions and tell me their pros & cons.
Thanks!

Ack! *gets knocked over by your post* I'm not a pro in PDA/PPC. I just use them. Hehehe. But there is a place where you can find useful info. I'll PM you the link. I heard that Sony Erricson phones have a tendency to hang. Not sure about their PDA phones. All I know is that SE P900 uses Symbian OS. Not sure how it works. I'm more of a PalmOS person. Sorry. I find that a lot of my KVPUG friends prefer the Treo 600/650. It comes with a built-in QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player, digital camera etc. The market price for T600 is around RM 1848 and T650 is RM 2788. Runs on Palm OS5. But do check out the KVPUG site. Hope you'll find what you need

Thanks!
Saber..actually u really need to do some research as for all the needs that u mention above...u have to determine which is best for you. For PDA or smartphone users..they don't really need much of tech gadgets. Example they won't be needing the use of Word, Excel etc. But for PPC it's a different league a bit as they have a somewhat smaller scale of PC usage on it. Here's my take on the difference between those two..Anybody can just correct me for my mistakes here: PDA/Smartphone( I lump these 2 together as they are more or less the same). - Acts more like a mobile organizer..limited stuff..Most runs using Palm OS..Light, small, Not all carry Blue tooth Capability, I don't think they have USB ports(correct me here), Useful for short notes and only have small memory, Some may or may not be able to expand or have a Flash memory slot. As for Sim change without turning off, probably have to add some sim extension or sort to it. PPC - Big, heavy, bulky (imagine the HP or Sony02). Most using the windows CE OS, Bluetooth capability, can install word,Excel, other software to view documents. Normally have no problem in setting up WiFi for Hotspot, etc. Could also use normal network cable but have to use an extension card. For sim change..most likely the same as the PDA..need a sim extension. s for memory..now most comes with an at least 64? MB Flash RAM and have an expension slot. Tho the PPC is a cool gadget, It really depends on how u wanna use it. Trust me...u DON't want to configure the PPC in an Office environment with networks and firewalls. Yyou'll be Bald in probably 1 day ;D
