Anyone remember this cool TV show called "V'? This is during the 80s (1982) when the first original miniseries was first shown, then later comes The Final Battle followed by 19 episodes of the TV Series.
And for those that didn't follow the show in the 80s... get this!
This is before Independence Day (ID4) really exist!!!
One of the best shows ever that features a cool cast of Marc Singer (Beastmaster), Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger of Nightmare From Elm Street), Faye Grant (Greatest American Hero), Michael Ironside (Scanners, Starship Troopers) and more.
I wonder anyone wants to a meetup for this?

Yes I watched it as a young adult, about the same time as Battlestar Galactica.
Only remember bits and pieces about it as it didn't really impress me at the time, with Star Wars grabbing much of my attention...

i too saw it when i was a kid. the only thing the got me about the series then was reptile aliens.
but i managed to watch again recently, finally truly appreciated it as a very political series. see the similarities with Nazis ?

Remember the aliens eating Spiders and stuffs? Then this female character who mated with one of the alien giving birth to a twin, one looked normal but is special and another really looked like the aliens?
I remember watching it when I was young so memories of it is kinda sparse. I don't understand that much English at the time anyway as I was kinda Malay Educated during Kidergarden.

nope. god, i've got to be the youngest member here. Kekeke... I believe you are. Most of us that had watched "V" are during our primary or secondary days in the 80s. I know I watched it during my primary days... it was one of the most exciting TV Series at that time... although watching it now do make a difference... but its still a fun watch.

Anyone has the video to this series?
I can still remember the part about the female alien who elongated her jaw to swallow a live rat!
As for the girl who mated with the alien, her offspring was a girl with super telekinetic powers ("The One") who could bring about the downfall or reunification of the species.

Ah "V" the TV Series that ran from 1984-1985 one of my favourite prime time TV Series on Sunday nights.
The female alien that you were referring to could have been DIANA the bitchy Alien Commander, played convincingly by JANE BADLER (who later starred in the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE late 1980's TV version)
Hmmm... like you Douglas I wonder if there is a DVD Compilation of all the TV Episodes of "V" including the Grand Opening episode.

Hmm, it appears there are some things that even a Sith Lord does not know. The Dark Side is not strong with you today, is it?? ;D
