Not sure where this belongs but figured, fantasy is the likely place since immortals aren't known to exist.

Didn't follow the TV series or the last movie. Only vaguely recall the first 2 movies. I think the 2nd movie really screwed up the whole Highlander basis with the immortals apparently being aliens from another planet.
How did the franchise end? Is McCloud still around?

There was like 6 seasons of Highlander TV series. Also a spin-off on the Amanda character that lasted a season called Highlander: Raven. Think that's about as far as they got.

It's a common misconception to think the name's McCloud. Its actually MacLeod.
Duncan MacLeod is the lead character in the TV series. If memory serves, he became 'The One' after killing the last immortal.
The Highlander in the movies is Connor MacLeod of the same clan, but I'm not sure what's their relationship.
FUN FACTS: Rules of the Immortals: (A) When Immortals fight, they fight one against one - no mortal or another Immortal may assist in a fight. (B) No fighting may take place on Holy Ground. It is considered to be sanctuary and is a place where talks between enemies can occur safely. (C) An Immortal can't strike another during the Quickening (D) Immortals can't fight in public places in front of mortals (E) In the end, there can only be one[/color]

Well since this is indeed the Highlander thread, my favorite Highlander is still JUAN RAMIREZ played by Sean Connery. ;D

The Highlander in the movies is Connor MacLeod of the same clan, but I'm not sure what's their relationship. The original Highlander that chopped the last immortal head was Connor in the first movie. Never saw the sequels so can't comment on them. But having a movie where the hero is the last guy standing isn't very suitable for sequels without screwing something or other up. Highlander: Raven is pretty cool. Too bad they're only selling video tapes of the show.
